I love the feature where you can add your milled malt the night before, program in the water to automatically add, program your mash schedule (including time-consuming step mash temperature routines) and be done with mashing when you arrive in the morning. Huge time saver. Super compact brewery, with the correct amount of automation, that is absolutely the easiest to use.

small systems (10 L, etc..) are waaaay too expansive for what they do.

I bought a used 20L for $400 US. 10 years old, looks brand new. It forces the water through the grain instead of hoping gravity will do the job. I would not be able to afford a brand new one.

@@robbby4011 I know, I worked on a 1000 liters long time ago. Cool equipement, and the ratio price/liters is ok for the 500 and 1000 L.

Right but I love brewing but cannot consume that much beer anymore. And with kids, work, and other obligations long complicated brew days aren’t an option. Not to mention this is way less equipment to store. Yes you’re paying a premium for this technology and low capacity but it’s exactly what I need.
