Ja - so Grahamstown is now known as a place called Makhanda. I wonder what that stands for and what it means? I always liked this song, Leon. That picture on the LP you have featured in the video reminds me of Jon and his friends when I first met him. My, how the years have flown. I hope you have a great weekend, my friend. As you always say..."Groete" -- Liz.

Hi Liz, Makhanda (c. 1780-1820) was a Xhosa prophet, war doctor, and military leader who led an attack on Grahamstown in 1819 (according to Google...). Never knew Jon was a muso though, good for him! Same to you d Jon Liz, enjoy the weekend! Groete!

@@keurspel Thanks for that information, Leon. (^_^) Yes, Jon was a muso. He played a few instruments, such as the piano, the harmonica, the Flute and a Fiddle. I have a nice story to tell you when I write to you again. You take care now and have a nice weekend. It is very cold here at the moment and we might be getting snow here in Saint Louis soon.
