Actually Roger Aaron Brown voiced Achilles in AC rogue he just changed his voice to sound younger probably originally they had different vision at the beginning but change later in development

Interesting. That means the team made a choice to change shay from the early look and make shay identical to Jacob frye, protagonist of Syndicate, a game that was in development at the same time as late development for Rogue... Wonder why. I mean even Shay's main outfit was changed to match the sense of style that Jacob frye has. (AC Victory featured Jacob as the only playable protagonist and his face still looks the same in syndicate now as it did in Victory back then.)

I guess he was supossed to be evil ( or just ruthless like haythan, because black flag also show like ac3 the templar side ) and this version of him match with otso desing, what explain why rogue be the only one who let you play like grant theft auto, even dont make a sense with shay personality. This model looks way better, now i’m actually kinda bummed that they changed it! But tbh I like his current outfit more, the long coat with the black and more bright red fits Shay a lot better, but this outfit with a hood maybe would’ve been perfect as Shay’s assassin outfit from the beginning of the game. Also bit random but does anyone else feel like this character model looks a lot like Duncan Walpole from AC Black Flag?

I think this looks great for Shay during his early Templar years like someone else said. After his formal initiation, he’d have neatly groomed hair, face, and mustache. His Assassin days should’ve been a patchy beard.

Templars don't wear hoods. I understand that many would have preferred it if Shay's outfit had a hood like in the trailer. But it wouldn't make any sense lore-wise.

I prefer to think hood is not they symbol, but Just a tactical gadget in fiction ways. But, i like more him without the hood.
