But in 84 Roddy was not SHARP...Sharp (87 in USA) When you're Skinhead, no need to justify...people don't like...it does no matter...we don't care. Skinhead it's in your heart and in your head...you understand? No need politic etiquete. My bands in the 80's when I was young: Sham 69, Cockney Rejects, The 4 Skins, The Business, The Last Resort and more... Skrewdriver the first album of course but my favourite single is "Back with a bang", 77 Punk : Stiff Little Fingers, Buzzcocks, Undertones. I like 2 tone Revival Ska...Body Snatchers, I like that! Rhoda Dakar...beautifull girl. For the origins: Ska, rock steady and Reggae 69 (Skinhead!!!) ...My life! I like also Motown and Northen Soul. I like Glam Rock : The Slade ("Cum On Fell The Noise!"), Suzy Quatro & more. But also bands : Motorhead, Rose Tattoo, Ac/dc My favourites Bands when I was 17-18 were The Crack, Cock Sparrer, Bohse Onkelz (ouah!!! Very great), The Burial, Skin Deep, Arthur Kay & The Originals ("watching the rich kids"...my god!! ),The Deltones ( ex Body), The Loafers and french bands like Camera Silens, La Souris Déglinguée, Komintern Sect. the jamaican music ( ska , rocksteady/bluebeat and early reggae/skinhead reggae/ heavy reggae ) was very popular music in u.k in the late 60's and early 70's , at that time it was very fashionable between the first skinheads but this music was not the its reason for being , the skinhead culture would emerged anyway with or without jamaican music , i like this kind of music too but when someone says "skinheads could not exist without jamaica" makes me laugh , oi it's the music made by skinheads for skinheads
