I have not seen a convex in a long. .. time . I gave one too my nephew and I think he sold it. I get a midlife crisis just thinking about that old set up. I don't know what your trying to roll on ... An acid drop grind plank with og slalom carvers

Seismic trucks are not suspension trucks; the springs are solely to provide stable, predictable, well-behaved resistance to the turning/pivoting of the hanger about the axis of the kingpin. (That's why even on Seismic's own Web site they never refer to their own trucks as "suspension" trucks.) The Avenue trucks are true suspension trucks in that their novel hanger design provides up to 1/4" to 1/2" of vertical compression, while using a more traditional bushing-based setup to control turning/pivoting motion

Got a 100mm set I used to have on my slalom deck, shocked to see someone actually put them on a street board but if you're actually gonna street skate with them i think you'll be one of the first to do it

If the springs are not for impact then they are not suspended, thus not really suspension trucks.

I think the trucks on backwards and maybe try them on a long board. It might help out your ride.

They aren't the "original" spring trucks. There were spring suspension trucks around before Seismic was a glimmer in Gesmer's eye.
