Awesome finale and the end to thee amazing villain Dahlia! Dahlia backstory you must understand is that the Vikings came to her village, killed everyone there, and gets kidnapped her and Esther, by the Vikings who included Mikael, Esther then goes on to marry and fall in love with one of the Vikings who massacred their home and leave her. That’s the makings of a villain story especially for a powerful witch so I get Dahlia’s villain origin. The whole first born thing is out of pocket though lol

The vikings murders their entire village and enslave the women. After all that, Esther fell for her captors and a guy who murdered their kins, from Dahlia perspective. After they promised they'll look after each other no matter what, you can see how this could be viewed as a massive betrayal. Now, the reaction was overdone.

Season 3 corrects the entire Vampire Diaries universe. In this lore yhat goes back 1000s of years, different Vampire societies will form, becoming influential with time. Damon was able to do this in Mystic falls. Anna's mom was trying to do the same. I imagine there will be a lot of this all over the world. If the way vampires lore works in TVD were to become real, vampires would quickly become the dominant species (not in number but in power and influence).

Season 1+2 of the originals is better than 5,6,7,8 of the vampire diaries combined. I do agree with elijah and hayley because I don't know why Elijah would fall in love with hayley they have nothing in common. Elijah did care about Gia in the background they were spending a lot of time together. She suited better, and they shared a passion for music. She understood that Elijah put everyone before himself and needed to focus on his own happiness (conversation with hayley). It would have been a better love story if they never killed her off

Season 2 was the best followed by 1 and 3 but season 4 and 5 goes a little down hill

Most people I believe including me think that season 3 is the best but it depends on the person. Season 3 is definitely the most cohesive. Also I think it might be their favorite based on what they liked from previous seasons. Season 3 focuses a lot more on the vampire side of things and vampire lore and history. It is the most vampire centric one and that actually benefited the fight sequences a lot which works for them since they don't like witch fights and witch enemies due to their ill defined capabilites. I would also say the characters are at their best in season 3 too.
