The look in Kol's eyes and that breath he takes when Davina tells him she loves almost broke me. Kol isn't the same reckless impulsive vampire from TVD. His time as a witch maybe put things into perspective, one that hasn't been visible to him in ages. Something about him changed when he got to be around the Davina. Perhaps he buckled down and matured. I love the development of Kol's character. I hope the writers keep expanding his role on the show. Hopefully he comes back!

The truth was that being a witch didn't change him, it brought him back. He talked to Davina about that in the car ride. Kol was his mum's apprentice, he loved practicing magic. When that was stripped from him, the only way he could feel power was by murder. As much as it is dreamy to think Davina changed Kol, I feel like she was just lucky enough to have met the real him.

omg. this scene kol more like that he was at lose of words of what to say, can you even imagine how long it must've been the last time someone told him that they loved him? In the end actions speak louder than words, you can see it in his face on how moved he was when she told him that she loved him, his entier face soften and his eyes were even getting teary eyed.

You know it's sad when these two have the most stable relationship on the show...and he's dead. You got Elijah and Klaus who have countless Exes that always come back with a vengeance, Rebekkah and Marcel who have a complicated off and on relationship based on the century they're in, and Hayley who is in love with Elijah and lost the husband she loved. Kol and Davina's relationship may have started off as a ploy by Ester, but Davina has really changed Kol.

The look on Kol’s face when Davina told him she loved him broke me. It was all he ever wanted to hear. That was the moment he couldn’t help but hope she brought him back. Before that he wanted her to move on but hearing that made him want to be alive again more than anything.

I just realize that he didn't tell her because he doesn't wanted to risk the mother of his niece life, even when that means he couldn't come back. I always love Kol since TVD, he was always so badass and cruel I admit that... and I love Kolvina so much. The thing is I don't think he tried to stop davina to help his family he doesn't seem to like them I think he was trying to stop her because he knew if she helped cause Hayley's death Klaus and Elijah would kill her i mean for goodness sakes in season 4 he manipulated hope into unlinking davina from the hollow despite knowing it would put hope in danger and he helped the hollow to save davina almost allowing her to kill Hayley in the process
