The interrupted Harvest ritual resulted in Davina becoming the most powerful witch seen to date. Although barely having any experience in witchcraft, she was a formidable enemy to the Originals, as Rebekah stated that she was more powerful than them, seen when she took down Elijah and Klaus with ease. A shame that it only lasted 10 episodes and all that power was going to kill everyone including her. Anyways, enjoy!!

When Davina slowly started to turn Klaus into a wolf (and you could see his wolf hair appearing) that was so badass. I know she had the power of three witches ; but regardless it was impressive, and in her own right she is still a formidable witch.

After they died the power the power of each Witch was channeled onto the next, so since Davina was the last she had the power of three powerful ancestral New Orleans Witches, + her own as-well. If she had the power of all The Ancestors (which is thousands of witches) she would’ve been unstoppable ; and way more powerful than she was within the show.

She is powerful but I honestly think Freya, Dahlia, and Bonnie are stronger. Even with the combined magic of the harvest girls. She had the strength of 4 witches. Freya is a first born michaelson witch who's power was augmented by dahlia and put in a sleep spell where her magic has been growing for a 1000 years. Bonnie had the strength of basically her entire family and Dahlia is a first born who was put under the same spell as Freya and can draw strength from her.

There were so many things that they could have done with this show, but they were far too in love with their "originals."

@@chrizstele5922 for example, ongoing skullduggery between the werewolves and the vampires, power plays between the vampire clans, government agents hunting vampires. The primary problem that they had was to create protagonists who were ridiculously over powered, and effectively unkillable. This is why they had to keep creating new, and more absurd, ways of putting them at risk. First it's the white oak stake, then it's Michael the Viking, then it's auntie's magic, then it's The Hollow (which was the most idiotic of all). If there is no risk, there is no drama. All they had to do from the beginning is say that the vampires were subject to certain forms of magic that could destroy them. This would give their enemies a plot hook, and provide drama for the main characters. Instead they kept changing the ground rules.
