Elijah just breaks my heart. He tried so hard for so long to be everything that everybody else needed. He never gave up on any of them, never loved them any less, no matter what they did to him or to others. To him, they were all worthy of every last scrap of love that he could give, all worthy of being saved, all worthy of his every last second of time in the world. Taking the curse for Hope since he couldn’t bare for Klaus to take it or for Hope to die and he saw it as his responsibility since he blamed himself for Hayley’s death was painfully poetic. Dying with Klaus as well, since he thought his life had no purpose if he wasn’t constantly saving his brother. The fact that Klaus was allowed to come back in Legacies but Elijah wasn’t is some of the greatest injustice I’ve ever seen. By far my favourite Original, loved him since TVD.

People didn’t like the ending but for me their deaths at the end was the embodiment of their goodness triumphing over the bad within them. They were anti-heroes not only in the sense of hurting others but their own darkness brought them so much pain, and to end that pain, that darkness for a noble cause defeated their villain within.

Marcel said to Klaus “it seems you’re always willing to watch the world burn as long as you survive” In season 4 and 5 they earned that redemption as soon as hope was better they could’ve left to let New Orleans burn but they didn’t.

I don't normally sat stuff like this but this show helped get throw some ruff times and when I found this video it's was one of my worst. I can't explain it but this video helped me make it through that day and now when I'm low like tonight I watch it and it still puts a smile on my face. The bond of klaus and elijah is special and this is one of the best videos I've seen that shows that .

So gorgeous and a wonderful tribute. The ending felt right to me. After all of Klaus's former selfishness and cruelty, this felt like the right end to his redemption story. Elijah dying with him felt right too. Although I think it would have been just as powerful to not kill off Hayley and have Klaus4 encourage Elijah to have his own happiness with her. To me that would have been even more touching and Hope would still have a parent.

They couldn’t have provided a scene of Klaus finding peace because in the new series, legacies, there was an explanation and Klaus can’t find peace until hope forgives herself and realizes that it’s not her fault. Her can’t find peace until she can. As for Elijah, I’m pretty sure he’s with Hayley now.

The originals is such an emotional rollercoaster which makes it such a great show. I’ve been mad at characters, happy for them, even scared and sad. They need to make a Marvel Champions Style game for this TVD/TO/Legacies Universe. With every character possible of attaining and you fight against each other. You could get like average fighters like “Stefan, Damon or Enzo” you could get Strix Members, or some of the Hybrids Klaus sired in season 3, Witches, Kai Parker. The best players would probably be The originals, Marcel Lucien, the Hollow and Dahlia. You could attain different spells and weapons, so you could KO somebody like Klaus but you could only “fatality” him if you owned a white oak stake. And if a player owns Klaus and they get White oak stake they need to find a resurrection spell to bring him back. They’d get this from Drops or rewards for winning quests. Some people could have special abilities like Stefan being more powerful against, humans, witches and werewolf’s because he’s a ripper. And of course Hybrids having the bite over vampires. I’m telling you if somebody designed this game everyone who loves Vampire diaries would play it if it was done well

hayley was dead, klaus was going to die he saw that klaus had redeemed himself and that was elijahs true mission he had nothing else to live for, it was such an honour that he died by his brother’s side, even in death he remained by his brother’s side. Bare in mind there was only 13 episodes in season 5 so maybe it was rushed
