Damn them writers was ruthless with Elijah. So he gave the lake house he was going to have with Hayley as a wedding present to his sister. Yeah this better had stay on the deleted scene. That character went threw enough on live TV. Now the last one they should of kept, because this looks to be the origin on what really inspired The Redemption arc.

The last scene was important. It proves that Hope knew about mikael and the moonstone ritual which transformed Klaus. The makers suck.

We've known that she knew that before. Remember when she tried to do the same ritual on herself. That's not at all what's important about that scene. What's important is her bonding with Elijah and her quote stating that she loves her dad not matter what. She really made me mad the first half of the season even though i love her as a character I hated her actions and quotes especially in 5x2 when she said that she was better off without Klaus and later thought he didn't love her. This scene really puts me at ease about that.
