I don't ship them together, but the kind of bond Klaus and Hayley now share is unmatched. They've (given, it was unintentional, but it still happened) created a new life together, and despite that they have no great love for one another, they both have that one thing to live for: their little girl. And because of Hope, they will have a relationship that will last centuries to come. It will never die, never weaken, and never waver. She might one day end up with Elijah as her love and Rebekah as her sister, but she and Klaus will be on a very unique, very special, very powerful level of understanding, support, and family. The only place for their relationship to go now is forward, and that's what I really love about the dynamic between the two: they will both face trails and be hurt. People will never stop trying to kill them but they will both have one thing to fight for, together: Hope.
