Two huge reasons why I like a slightly forward-angled snare - 1) it encourages me to keep my chest up with a straight back & 2) the stick recoil feels amazing and won't damage my hand as much in the long run.

Hearing from a pro like yourself in this format can shape a drummer's playing without even playing. I appreciate what you offer to the drumming community.... Looking forward to many more episodes to come.

Great!!! Being someone self taught except from A Rod Morganstein audio tutoral. Started on punk ( where endurance was more important than skill.) And high energy rock. Now I'm just infatuated with linear stuff. And you're crushing it. Love your show.

Man, great to see this podcast. Keep up the amazing work. :) BTW, CTM in ears are amazing, I have the CT-500 and the best description for in-ears is the one that a friend gave to me: "It is heaven in your ears" :)

Hello Adam. I’m from Chile. I really love your channel and all the work you have done, really blowmind. One of the outstanding things i like so much its your image, you really took to a professional level the qualityof your videos, in audio and in photography. I really love the look of your productions. I see a little sneak peak of your upper lights over the drums in other video, but i would love to know most of the details on it, your cams, lights, sliders, etc.... its really really awesome work. Keep going Adam youre great!

Hey, I play heavy cymbals. 20’ Paiste & 24’ Paiste ride. The 2002 series the heavier of the series. I use a bushing on the tops and bottoms and use my DW wings just enough to where it’s not nearly tight. My question is, if I don’t use the bushing on the tops and no wings will it cause damage to my cymbals in the long run??

Super stoked this is here! I've been super excited for this and for All in with Adam. We have all been very interested in your educator mindset and having you teach us concepts. But to have a better insite into your mind as a HUMAN is going to be great. Learn more of who you are as a person, and not just a drummer. Let's all keep this conversation open and have a great time everyone!!

You were gonna do a Letlive gig no way! I've been jamming along with their stuff again recently. It's a really good blend of intense playing with intricacy. Really cool to see the shout-out to them! DIdn't know this!
@AdamTuminaro
@AdamTuminaro 3 жыл бұрын
Gotta clarify here, for my own sanity. Letlive booked me for a 3 month tour, had me to learn 26 songs in 6 weeks, rent my room out to friend, give up my entire roster of students, and then canceled my flight with 8 hours notice. My bags were literally packed when I got the phone call, when they told me they “found a friend to do it”. I had uprooted my entire life to take the gig. It cost me my job (all my students, whom I set up with new teachers) and almost my home / living situation. They paid me nothing, and said “that’s the music industry.” As this was nearly ten years ago, I should probably thank them for motivating me to abandon touring and move to online education. I wouldn’t have the career that I have without their actions, and the summer of 2013 was when I launched my online business, as I felt that I had no choice. But I no longer like to pretend these were professional, or considerate people. Things could be different now. People change. (Don’t know / don’t care.) But it was by far one of the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I’ve had in my entire career. Not something I look back fondly on in any way. If you ever see me hesitate to reference them, this is why.
