Dude I normally play damnation to auric - the twins have wiped every damnation party I've been in. My psycher staffs are already doing near zero damage to their refractor shields - I can't imagine doing "30% less damage in damnation" mode.

... Of course your staff is doing no damage on their shields. The shields work just like our shields. They take less damage from any ranged source, and extra damage from melee. Why are you attacking their shields with your staff? xD Get in there, soldier! Hit them with yer forceblade!

This is nearly impossible in pubs unless you get lucky and find really good random but the chances of that happening is slim.

I lost 13 Matches before I found one Squad where I won and even then I had to Full Team Revive during the Fight.

I had a solid group who knew what they where doing with high rating gear and it still took us about a couple hours. Was really satisfied with fatshark dropping this secret difficulty though.

When the Karnak twins were field bosses, I thought Rodin's tox grenades were kinda...weak, I mean they can fuck you up if you're being a goldfish, but it wasn't anything crazy....but MAN, those grenades can be a REAL RUN-ENDER in the proper bossfight. This is a good boss fight.

Ggs we did it as well with one psyker I was the psyker with purgatus staff and had 3 vets with 2 invis on our team then they would chain revive each other while I would aggro just everything moving in circle and applying burn took us long time but we did it after 7 hrs and 20 min.

Why do you go for all that health over toughness? As long as you have 200+ toughness you avoid chip damage right? Good run!

As I understand, more HP leaves more room for mistakes. Do the same thing on my ogryn - 60% max HP really works wonders on the guy. And toughness, in my observations, is easier to loose. Even on heresy two or three hits from a basic enemy already demolish my 150 toughness along with a small percentage of HP soo... Its just easier to block or evade and have a bigger health pool.

Hp is more important, as ogryn has so many ways to regen. Hp however is much harder to regen, so it’s better to prioritize

I think the logic is "Well I will lose all of my toughness or get hit repeatedly anyway, let me just have a bigger health bar". Can't understand it to be honest, because to me it feels like an extremely defeatist kind of thought process. Maybe I'm missing something, but I legit can't agree with most arguments in favour of HP stacking: -HP is only useful if you get hit repeatedly or lose all of your toughness. And lets be real here, you will be regaining toughness if you lose it, so this argument is flawed. Otherwise might as well equip more wounds. -If you're gonna attempt to upkeep Toughness at 100%, why not increase its quantity? "But I can regen it anyway" - yeah, so how about you restore more toughness per hit, per each tick of regen, per each trigger of supportive abilities of your teammates? Even if you do get hit a couple of times, more Toughness means more mitigated damage. And you don't have to use consumable resource to regain it, unlike HP. -Even though HP "scales better" for Ogryn in terms of numbers, on practice its irrelevant, because it lacks damage resistance bonuses that Toughness has and several classes can provide for themselves and allies. So what if you have 100 more health? Gonna enjoy seeing it melted in half a second, because you're basically naked at that point anyway? How well will it balance out, really, compared to not getting your toughness broken completely and mitigating more chip damage due to its increased quantity? You can't easily calculate that because its based on how well you can actually play the game and use your Ogryn. Shouldn't your aim be to NOT get to health damage by evading attacks, dealing with heretics and keeping toughness at 100% anyway? Considering recent fire rebalance, easy toughness upkeep nodes in Ogryn skill tree, addition of Vet/Zealots toughness-related Chorus and Shout - blindly stacking bigger numbers for HP is no longer something you should do. HP is your "I played, VERY, VERY POORLY" resource, not your main "tanking" resource.

I'd have to agree, you can stack a lot of health as Ogryn, but I'm at 260 toughness and that is a lot to play with. Couple that with a shield and I feel unstoppable. @@cookiebaker2660

​@@cookiebaker2660Incorrect. Any damage taken below 100% toughness will chip into hp. That's why you always take hp. You can have 500 toughness but the second it drops to 499 you're liable to take hp damage. You only need enough toughness to tank the initial hits of certain enemies. Past that it's almost worthless. Now don't get me started on taking wounds.

tbh I did it once on Damnation on my first try and have no intention of doing it ever again. I like 2 new maps. I like how twins randomly appear midmap giving additional challenge but I hate the idea of arena for the sake of fighting bosses.
