GUNLUGGER vs HARD MODE KARNAK TWINS - Darktide

Team composition:
- 1 Chastise Zealot
- 1 Chorus Zealot
- 1 Skullbreaker Ogryn
- 1 Gunlugger Ogryn (me)
Strategy:
Chastise Zealot and Skullbreaker Ogryn focus the elite adds. Chorus Zealot focuses on survival using Swift Certainty & Inexorable Judgement to stay out of danger OR Blazing Piety for maximum ult uptime using CDR. Gunlugger Ogryn focuses Void shields -- first Rinda, who is weaker to ranged damage, and then Rodin if his shield hasn't gone down to the melee teammates yet.
Once shields are down, focus Rodin FIRST with damage-maxxed Achlys Heavy Stubber (Overwhelming Fire + Blaze Away), preferably stacking Light 'em Up burn as high as possible. His gas mines make the fight much harder, get rid of him ASAP and you will clean Rinda up easily.
Don't die to the mines, don't die to the specials. During the gas phase, focus on running, not clearing enemies.

Seriously the Horde much more of a Threat than the Karnak twins themselves...most of my mission failures is because the whole team got separated by the Horde

Light Light Heavy combo is great for single target damage with that Mk of Knife, or push attack, heavy light and repeat the heavy light for hordes and mixed, in case anyone is running a bleed build, shreds everything. Nice Video!

Made the switch on my Achlys to Overwhelming Fire and Blaze Away, as well. For melee, I like the new XIX Shovel with Confident Strike and Skullcrusher with Unarmoured and Carapace (could probably go through some more optimization, but I rolled it and it feels good). That fight gave me anxiety, and it returned while watching this video.

I like that shovel too. Does Carapace give you a Crusher breakpoint on Gunlugger builds?

@@hankjw_dt It either came on the shovel or I put it on there to hit a 2 shot to the head on Crushers. I know that with + 20 or 25 (can't remember) I can 2 shot them without Thrust or any Heavy Attack damage Talents. Edit: I am running Soften Them Up, though.

Ogryn with a slab shield also work great, use the taunt power to pull them off other teammate

Would lucky bullet be better for ability upkeep or are you running FNP stagger for breathing room as a gun lugger? Also, which knife is that?

What difficulty do I find these bells for the secret hard mode ? And what difficulty do I need for that penance? I've beaten it on Heresy and damnation and got both insignias but not the Secret stuff

The bells are always there on any difficulty. You can complete the puzzle on Sedition if you wish. Then you get the penance rewards for activating hard mode on Damnation and beating the Twins.

The ability is for stacking burns on the boss once shield is down. It would be a waste to use it for reload.

Whenever I manually reloaded, it was because I was saving my ult for another more opportune moment.

pretty much it, if you got the space and time for a free reload, do it, pumping the boss dry then alt is the master way to way it @@hankjw_dt
