Do you want to know a terrifying thought? If humanity ceased to exist, and electricity was lost. We would have very few cultural artifacts left behind from our generation for the future archeologists to find. We could become the Lost Age. Not the Computer age. Our records are there, but there is nothing to speak of for physical archeological discoveries of our current age. Nothing for what we as a people were truly like. I don't know why this thought always pops into my head when watching this episode.

I'm guessing it's been said before, but I only just discovered you're reacting to this now... So yeah in episode 1 you said this looks good and good for Seth etc... Season 1 is fun and it has some really strong episodes, season 2 really they really find their identity as a show more it feels like and the story gets stronger. And then season 3 after the move to Hulu imo is on a whole new level. It blows any Star Trek made in this century out of the water in every aspect. And the production value also goes way up.

It's the combination of Star Trek Voyager episode Blink of an eye and Star Trek next generation episode Who watches the watchers.

I know they combined a bunch of ideas from different Star Trek shows, but it's an amazing episode nonetheless.

You also guess Kelly would be their god very early on. How are you THIS good at guessing things?

Almost like Christianity. Like what most people used to do back then vs now. That’s what I got from it at least.

The Orville has surpassed Star Trek and Star Wars in every way, in my opinion.
