What an explanation! Not only you have 'sound technical knowledge' but also know 'how to communicate it to others'. Those who are from non-computer science background, even they can understand it better. Thanks a ton.

In synchronization, if a crash happens during transition, will it resend that all 100 pages or will it resend that crashed page only?
@rajnishanand88942 жыл бұрын
It will send from the last checkpoint. eg. if the last checkpoint was 90 pages then it will send from 91 and if there weren't any checkpoint between then it will send again from 1 page.
@pranavnyavanandi97102 жыл бұрын
@@rajnishanand8894 Exactly.

Everything was fine but I think you stated the wrong meaning for synchronisation. Whatever you said about it is actually for CHEKPOINTING. Overall great workman.
@gopiazad6774 жыл бұрын
Bhai book me yahi likha tha ......
@gopiazad6774 жыл бұрын
Synchronization. The session layer allows a process to add checkpoints, or synChronization points, to a stream of data. For example, if a system is sending a file of 2000 pages, it is advisable to insert checkpoints after every 100 pages to ensure that each 100-page unit is received and acknowledged independently. In this case, if a crash happens during the transmission of page 523, the only pages that need to be resent after system recovery are pages 501 to 523. Pages previous to 501 need not be resent. Figure 2.12 illustrates the relationship of the session layer to the transport and presentation layer
