This is pretty cool. My 2.0T GLI and 1.8T Sport Jetta both make more power to the crank on a stage 1 tune than this Honda but we can’t do anti-lag and the other cool things these Honda’s can do. I would love an SI to change things up a bit but would add it in addition to.

When your in neutral you can make it spit a flame you gotta give it half throttak again after letting go of the throttle for it to work right

Curlyheadf if you have hondatas anti lag system on it it will allow you I’m not to familiar with other tuners I will say I wouldn’t recommend the anti lag it sounds amazing and spits few flames for me but it’s bad on your turbo which is why I taken it off I got downpipe hondatas 27psi option and resonator and muffler delete the resonator delete made it do like a flash one time here and there then I took the resonator off and it made a few and downpipe made it spit few good flames and I still got the same mpg if not better with all the mods I did a trip to Oregon to ca and went almost 500miles on a tank going 70 75 the whole way

I have downloaded this and tried it 3 times. When I begin to build boost the car throws all kinds of CELs at me. Do you know what I’m doing wrong? I have afe catless dp afe fp and afe cat back.

And they offer a ethanol tune those motors love ethanol they say they love ethanol better than regular pump like there literally made for it hondata offers so much you can even do a 91 tune and with what mods are on your car you can get 60 more ho with the ethanol tune with intake

Hey Ososik I am having a lot of trouble trying to launch my car correctly. Is there any tips you can give to a beginner? I have a +6 psi with anti hondata tune and e85 flex fuel kit with about 60% ethanol. My issue is I am having trouble launching from first then shifting to second. On a drag strip my time is around 14.1 with a .124 reaction time and a 60’ of about 3/4 seconds. My top speed is like 102-103 though. I feel like I should be in 13s but I just am having trouble on my take off. Usually I am right around 3500-4000 on my take off.

Are you having a lot of shake when you launch? Could you explain what is causing the problem to shift into second?

Ososik Media No. When I launch I generally spin my tires and hit my rev limiter at like 4500 to 5000 rmps eve though my rev limiter is set at 6000

Your launch RPM is too high. Try 2700 - 3200, with about 30-40% throttle. The trick is to get moving quick with as little wheel spin as possible, if you're hearing the tires chirping in 1st, then you're launch RPM is too, high, or you're applying too much throttle. I believe rev limit is only active when you're already moving, not stationary, that would be two step.

Bradey Strunk You don't need antilag to properly launch the car. Antilag might actually make it more difficult. I don't use it, so I can't say for sure.

Interesting! Lots of rattling in there lol So if anti lag is for built motors why are people wanting to enable this on their stock Si motors? Or are bolt ons considered in the “built motors”? Not taking an aftermarket turbo into considerations just fp/dp/fmic/intake

His rattling was caused by a full motor mount kit. Built motors means internals, but we think people are enabling it for the same reason they modify cars...(everyone has a different answer). We can't speak for Gonzo_Si but for the Si Se Puede Civic we are willing to accept the consequences of modifying/pushing limits.

because they have no clue how bad it is for stock motors and turbos to have this setting enabled. they'll find out when they blow up their turbo.built motors can handle it much more than stock

You could probably ask on forums what parts you have to upgrade/rebuild to be able to withstand the boost + launches...

Why is my calibrations tab always blank? I'm doing this on my Type R, and every time I try to open calibrations, it's just a blank box. Nothing shows up. I've been in it before, but it has been a minute since I have. Is it because I have a custom tune from a shop, that I can't open up my calibration tab?

That is a possibility, I also know for CTR only...you have to have the FlashPro plugged in.

Yes their set up is different to activate, but the rolling Anti-Lag is only available on Hondata. He has an aftermarket exhaust, not sure which brand.

That's up to you, but if you have a stock motor we wouldn't recommend it.

You can probably get away with using it, but it is recommended to have a built motor. If you do decide to do it on a stock motor, make sure you're comfortable with all possible outcomes.

I just saw this so idk if you figured it out yet or not lol but there should be 2 codes you need to turn off, one should be a catalyst monitor and the other should be an o2 sensor monitor.

Austin Calhoun Yes, there is a phone app and a app you download into your Display. Do some Google research's you should have no problem. Or call Hondata

At least that's from my understanding. I'll soon be a Hondata/Ktuner but not yet. Ktuner comes with it's on display now, or Hondata load onto the display or your phone.
