When you also factor in that Grian learned how to use the elytra on Hermitcraft (and also dived a lot), the flying sequence seems even better. Also, that was awesome. We need more hermitcraft content like this. Subbed.

I’m 3 years late to that detailed comment whoops, but a promise is a promise! I love your style! It has such an adorable chibi look :D Your use of timing is super cool! I love how in the beginning, the camera is at Grian’s POV and then Mumbo’s POV (or close to there) after Mumbo says they need to talk- something about it really sets the tone and builds an immediate connection with the characters! THAT ARM CROSSING ANIMATION IS GREAT!! Crossed arms can be hard to draw on their own, I admire how much detail you put into this ^^ And after it too! Through even their little movements, you captured a story :D Mumbo is so full of personality XD /pos I LOVE THE DIAGONAL TRANSITION BETWEEN MUMBO ON THE TABLE AND HIM STANDING THATS SO AWESOME :0 It’s really impressive how you make a conversation with minimal props so fun to watch!! The song fits so well with the story and the emotions, which you conveyed perfectly in your animation with the expressions on Mumbo and Grian's faces. I'm just going to go through a bunch of scenes with my thoughts because it was amazing. 0:19 I love your creativity! using the cups-on-the-countertop sounds for Mumbo pulling out the map of Hermitcraft was genius. 0:36 awwww, Grian's wearing the map as a blanket! 0:55 you gave that map so much use :) 1:07 Grian's eyes XD I love it 1:19 Is that a picture of people in EVO? I think the one on the right is Taurtis but I don't recognize the other. very nice touch 1:24 "redstone lol" on the book was hilarious 1:27 that camera shift was expertly animated, good job! 1:49 augh your animation is so goooooood, blurring out the lines of the characters like how a camera would shift focus, these kinds of little touches just make it that much more special 1:58 I mean, he definitely became the talk of the town 2:00 again with the brilliant emotions, the shading/tunnel vision perfectly embody Grian's distress 2:28 keeping the focus on Mumbo to see his reaction to Grian grabbing his hand just made that moment so sweet 2:35 of course Grian just wants to prank ;) 2:43 I gasped out loud at the shift to color, and timed with the crescendo of the music, I was just smiling so hard, overwhelmed by the pure joy of them flying together, 3:19 and all of the Hermits look up and smile and Grian cries and my heart MELTED it was so beautiful.... This is now one of my new favorite Hermitcraft Animatics, thank you so much Ducky Gamer! (and don't feel bad about cutting out the swearing, I actually appreciate it ^^)
