Here's my previous video showing more of the beautiful blue lanes of Chefchaouen: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omeoeJKBqt6Bqq8 Both videos were filmed with my GoPro 10. There's good news and bad news. The good news is that it turns out the overheating issue was caused by the foam windslayer device I was using to help block out wind noise. Once I removed that it completely stopped overheating. The bad news is that without the windslayer you get the wind noise while filming outside. Also I still find the colors to be weird looking. Overall I think the DJI Osmo Action does a better job.

Hello Gabriel, I m so surprised to see hustlers / harassers even on this great vlogs of yours filmed in Morocco. As a French, I keep being insulted by a certain Wilson Korisava , treating me as being a fachist, belonging to the 3rd Reich , talking about colonization etc .🤔 Sooo weired and disrespectful ... A real shame on this peaceful , relaxing and highly interesting channel. (This kind of people should be banned from social média) Have a nice day, Gabriel and always my best greetings from Paris .🖐😃

That was my favorite part of Morocco. Not many pushy people. I stayed right outside the high gate into the city. I woke up to the sound of trucks and people pretty early. It was market day. The smell from all the fresh herbs, spices and produce was so good. The mint tea there was a glass stuffed with fresh mint on the stem. So good. Best in morocco.

22 years since I was there, but I actually sucked in a breath when I first saw the mountains over Chefchouen in this vid. One of the best places I've ever been. Moroccan hustlers are the worst I've ever encountered anywhere, but they're only a very tiny proportion of Moroccans - although they make their presence painfully felt.

Hey Gabriel, another great video my friend. Back in the days when I could walk good I would do exactly what you did on this video. I would find myself in a place I had never been in and just walk not caring where it tool me. One of my favorite cities to do that in was Paris. What a beautiful city that was to get lost in. I would get on a random bus and go until the bus reached its end and get out and go exploring. I would see parts of Paris that most people didn't even know existed. I wish I could do that today because we have great cameras in our cellphones. Some of those places were just beautiful. But time has caught up with me and my long walks are over. I have to do it with people like you. So thank you very much for all of your efforts to bring us the best of the world.

Can't help but think he just walked up through an ancient cave settlement. The track seemed wide but neglected with fallen rocks. Houses set against the rock probable extended inwards. Some hillsides opposite that track were marked out as layered fields. I know C'Chaouen where the springwater surfaces but up there in the hills there would be old water source and streams.... Intrigueing video.

That last bit you said about Kentucky, North California, and Montana made me laugh. It reminded me when I went to central Illinois with a friend. Like they’ve never seen a person of color in their life. We walked in a fast food chain, nice friendly girl over the counter smiling, turned our head on our shoulder and there they were farm guy hicks with long beard all quiet and staring at us. We were rushing to finish our meal because we thought we would get shot there by someone with a shotgun. Haha.
@margietucker17193 жыл бұрын
Hello from Texas, C! I was born and raised in central Illinois--sorry that you had a negative experience there. Keep in mind that many rural people will give you a hard stare--just because you're a stranger, in a place that everyone knows everyone. I found that out for myself when my husband and I moved to a rural area of Southwest Virginia. I would wave and smile at people--no response--just a continued hard stare. They were that way in this particular community--yet other towns people were friendlier. Go figure? Glad I'm in Texas now--where people are super-friendly even if you're a stranger.

Quite weird it felt too hot for you. On November 11th the highest temperature in the city of Chefchaouen was 23 C. With elevation where you were I think it was cooler. We enjoy all your videos. The unscripted walking, details of the accommodations, and the pics and price of food are all very helpful. We are looking into traveling to Morocco soon, in spite of the annoying hustler problem. Your videos are most excellent! Re your Kentucky people comment: Visit Kentucky sometime: Red River Gorge, Keenland, the Lexington Horse Park, Lake Cumberland, Cumberland Gap, Berea, and Pine Mountain Little Shepherd trail. Yes, when you go up a holler in eastern Kentucky, the people are probably armed and cautious -you have to be when police take two hours to arrive after you call them. I found Kentucky hill people to be very kind, generous, and friendly; "they will give you anything, but won't let you take nothin' " ----not unlike a lot of the world's rural poor people.

This are the reasons, I think we should still. travel to Morocco..for the desert, the mountains..avoiding the tourist places, we 've already seen. Best greetings from Paris and know, Gabriel, that I much appreciated your last vlog , before leaving Morocco. Everything is correct , the pure reality of this country. All this northafrican countries have this culture ..of hustlers , which is so aggressive and difficult to handle for us , who have other values, education and certainly the notion of RESPECT, which seems to lack over there. I guess you re back home and wish you Happy Thanksgiving after many intense experieces and adventures. 🖐
@wilsonkorisawa70263 жыл бұрын
You never miss a chance to call North Africans uncivilized animals in your comments. As a French colonialist with racist upbringing, you have no authority to give moral lessons to a nation that is 3000 years older than your Asterix and Sarkozy. France is getting a 5th wave of Covid anyway, and Morocco is imposing tight restrictions on retired French who want to escape the cold and expensive food costs.

Cats are much more likely to contract rabies than dogs because of their curious nature, running free and often not being immunized. According to world health statistics rabies is epidemic in Morocco.
