Chips Dubbo was also simultaneously fighting alongside Chief in the attack on Delta Halo while also fighting alongside the ODST's of Halo 3 ODST. He was also captured by the Covenant on Delta Halo, taken to High charity, freed by Chief and then survived the fighting and flood outbreak to then escape and appear in the events of Halo 3. What a champ.

There was like a month that In Amber Clad was in slipspace, and ODST took place over the course of not even 24 hours. the Covenant had already set up on Installation 05 before Amber got there, so just because they entered Regret's slipspace window, doesn't mean they came out at the same time. So Stacker and Chipps COULD HAVE potentially hijacked a covenant ship (maybe one they used to escape Alpha Halo?) and followed In Amber Clad after the events of ODST (but got there faster because covenant ships are faster) and just laid low and rendezvoused with Miranda during early in Delta Halo before coming down to reinforce Chief on the gondolas in Regret. But it's way more fun to speculate about them being supernatural.

My explanation is that they stole a Condor, assuming that LT Haverson, being an ONI agent had one on board the Pillar Of Autumn. Edit: Another theory I have I call the Dubbo Brothers theory. Chips Dubbo appears in multiple places "at the same time" during the Halo games. My theory makes the statement that he's a twin brother. At some point during the war, our favorite Aussie marine joined up with his twin brother or brothers. Thereby explaining the overlapping appearances.

Mine was a ONI clone project we know they have cloning in halo but can’t clone a full human who whill like but chips was the one and only successful one but they couldn’t never duplicate The condo idea is a good one, but the condos did not get slim space drivers until after the war. This is nice and all but halo odst made it very clear that within the first hour after the slipspace jump almost all UNSC positions were overrun, with the remaining forces retreating first to the ONI HQ and then to the NMPD HQ, only to be decimated at both locations, leaving alpha 9 (bucks odst team) to fend for itself. So the city was already abandonned after 2 hours. The UNSC made no attempts to retake the city as the covenant somehow managed to retain air superiority and it was clear that they were waiting for reinforcements.

Those halo books were my childhood man. Fall of reach/the flood and first strike give me the chills. I remember after first strike it was cole protocol I think?
