To think this game was put together in 2 years. 2 years to make 1 of the most influential games, so memorable. I used to pretend i had half a dozen jobs at different times of day. From taxi driver to repossess cars and take them to the crusher. Even when the newer games come out i still go back to this game for comfort.

Agree! I like going back to the OG trilogy at least once a year, all 3 of them are just pure comfort, reminding me of the early days of my Gaming 'Career' :D

Well, yes. That's exactly what I said, it's groundbreaking for it's time... But 23 years later, for anyone born in the 2010s, this will be a game they look at like it's an alien life form. If they remastered it properly, I think it would be preserved well for future generations to enjoy, but we are stuck with the Defective Edition for now.

rockstar had the bawls to just do what people wanted, it wasnt a matter of creativity or revolutionary idea, it was just something that people have always dreamed of, a game where it simulates the real world, a city you can walk in and do whatever you wanted

I played both but I have to say I like GTA 3 Definitive Edition more because of the graphics

Honestly speaking, I feel like GTA III in the Definitive Trilogy was the best remaster out of all of them (minus Claude's Character Model as he looks a bit meh). It feels good to play & the added checkpoints & updated graphics make it actually enjoyable. In a way it ended up being really the definitive way to experience GTA III for new generations as the difficulty was still there...

Seriously, it's such a wasted opportunity for Rockstar especially as the groundwork is already there. With a bit of dedication, a proper remaster & online component for the older games could have made so much money while also making the fans happy, especially if they were done for Mobile & Handheld consoles Instead, we get the Defective Edition :)

This is the most timewaste video i ever seen. You're comparing GTA 4, GTA San Andreas to a game that came out in 2001. People were playing Tetris before this game😁
