How did you save Mad Dogg with the riot cheat active? It messes with him and makes him walk off the roof 100% of the time. I know this because I experienced it. If I missed it please time-stamp the mission for me. I went back looking for it.

Fun Fact: If you plan to use cheats when starting the game, dont skip the c.r.a.s.h cutscene, type the jetpack cheat “yecgaa” when cj and they are inside the car(when they are stop waiting for the train to pass). This will unlock interiors like clothes shopping stores without having to play the first mission.

That cheat destroyed my +200 hour save on my first run - I used to goof a lot around the map with cheats and save afterwards so I had a lot of hours. Eventualy I was finally in LV, happily doing the missions with cheats until the Mad Dogg mission... I tried everything I possibly could to pass the mission but nothing worked. My friend said it's probably because I had used too many cheats but later I found out it's because if you save with the peds riot, attack eachother or cj, the cheat is never properly disabled and thus corrupts your save. I remember the pain of going to the menu and select "delete" for my save file, knowing I had to do the infurating dance and lowrider missions again - yeah I sucked at them. Something to note is that, the cheat appears to be disabled when you load the save but a part of it remains active and affects characters in some cutscenes. Also, I got lucky with Denise, I guess I hadn't tried the riot cheat until that point or my save would have corrupted earlier. As far as I know, the other cheats are all ok and shouldn't break anything permanently.

@@burnttamale You don't even need to. The PC version loads a main menu before loading any save. If you start a new game from that menu, the glitch won't happen. It's the PS2 port that is a problem because it automatically loads the latest save so if you didn't have a previous save, the game will be bugged until you delete the save file or load the game before plugging your memory card.

GTA San Andreas is my favorite game of all time. I used to play it as a child every day, messing around with cheats, and one of my favorites was the extreme bunny hop on the BMX. When I saw it at the beginning of the video, I immediately had a childhood flashback of playing this game on my PS2.

ppl remembers SA for introducing swimming and climbing, but it also evolved combat, 3 and VC was just punch and kick, SA you learned different moves beating gym masters, LV you learned MMA and first time you could grapple, with the powerful grappling knee combo attack, also you could play arcade games like go go space monkey in bars competing for top score, jetpack, travel to other cities by airport, drive trains, parachute from mount chiliad and moree

not that "never wanted" would make the challenge boring. However I wanted to see you run into the issue I had with it. During mike toreno- when you're leaving the airport the game soft locks while the cheat is active. gaining wanted stars is apart of the mission flow somehow so we would just sit in the marker forever waiting for the next marker to appear but it never did. Took a couple days to figure out what was locking us!

This is the exact reason this video fails and proves you can’t beat this game with all cheats activated… I got my self stuck at this spot for days and couldent figure it out. I actually thought the game it’s self was bugged and got a new disk ( back when ps2 was mainstream and the biggest thing to have was a mod chip ) reloaded my old broken saved file but dident use cheats and I payed the soft lock spot automatically. So I went back and used cheats ( never wanted ) and I couldent beat the mission but AS SOON as I disabled the never wanted cheat even in the middle of the mission the red marker would appear and you would get an instant wanted level. I wasent untill then I realized that mission you have to have a wanted level and using never wanted glitches the mission out.

if im not wrong, even if you disable the riots cheat, the cheat isnt disabled for all peds and some remain like madd dogg and catalina, which will cause the save file to get corrupt as you wont be able to complete the mad dogg mission because mad dogg will jump down immediately

I did this back when I was 10 the memories I recruited 6 people all with RPG then a second later a tank blowed me up before I could even get on the bike I got half way through the game as I didn't know how to save the game and lost all my progress that was the good old PS2 version Im going to do this again for old time sake thanks for reactivating a memory great video dude.

This is so funny to watch because I just started a playthrough with over 50 mods, and a shit ton of cheats + a trainer activated and encountered every single problem you had and more. Mods and the trainers aside, using the wrong cheats at the wrong times alone can literally break your save in so many different ways. Missions won't show up, NPC scripts won't work, and a long time ago, I caused a rare undiscovered glitch that completely broke the hud of the game by spawning a shit ton of Hydras in one of those POV drive-by moments in the game. From what I remember, that glitch in particular was game breaking and carried over to new save files. I had to reinstall the game. If this happened on console, you basically broke your hardcopy. If you're planning on playing the game to mess around like this, just download a 100% save file and use a trainer with Mission Select. I've done countless playthroughs while going overboard with the cheats & mods and always got hardlocked at random points in the game.

I just started the video, but i know one thing that makes the game 100% unbeatable: the cheat "everyone's aggresive" (or w/e it was called) there is a mission where a guy jumps from a building, and you have to catch him, with this cheat activated, he instantly jumps, making the game unbeatable. Burning desires can actually be completed with the cheat bug active. You just have to meticulously clear out every NPC an vehicle within a few hundred metter. With nothing around to aggro her she complets the cutscene as normal.
