@@JakeK1107 Fallout new Vegas is boring, even compared to its peers. It's grey and brown and all of its characters are "edgelord" weird. Outer worlds is only a tiny bit better. 20 hrs in, my impression so far is that this game's writing is /BARELY/ interesting. Try Disco Elysium if you want the best writing of any game ever created. After you play that, no fallout is worthy of the title of good writing. I wish that these Outer Worlds characters were just 10% more interesting/unique.

Idk. I like Outer Worlds but I feel it really doesn’t best Bethesda’s worlds they’ve created. I mean I don’t necessarily want Bethesda to have fallout but you can’t deny how they’re worlds feel more alive with random encounters and more small details within npcs that wouldn’t have any impact on the main story. I feel outer worlds felt like a general digital world with people walking around trying to look like the real deal but the more you focus you’ll realise it’s all on a simple track nothing delved out just simple walk to point a to b and repeat or stand around and smoke. Nothing that changes up. Plus why only 6 and if you wanna do Supernova and you loss a conpainion that’s just an empty room... I wish they could’ve added a couple more people that could’ve joined the crew Incase someone died or if, on a simpler difficulty, you fire someone that didn’t fit in your group. Idk it’s great the first time around but second time around I realized how bland the world kinda is how it’s not really fleshed out and behind the good story and basically redone fallout style convo and revamped rpg was just a simple ole game that without the good dialogue and rpg elements, I feel it wouldn’t have done as good. That’s just me no hate for the game since I was rooting for it but I see it’s flaws and still play it trying to complete on supernova slowly but surely lmfao

Sam60420 they’re both rpgs and can be compared just ones future during bombs and ones future during space travel. Both are FPS style rpgs both have about the same dialogue trees style also. They’re extremely similar and the only thing you can’t compare would be lore.

superperior yeah it’s defiantly a good game but nothing special or anything to make your tighty whities to tighten up. It’s good for the little while you play it but the more you do the more you realize it needed a lot more polish just to flesh out the world a little. My buggiest thorn is the fact once you do edge water no matter what place you do nothing changes from what you see afterwards like idk unless I just haven’t waited long enough in the game for time to pass and either edgewater be abandoned with either more marauders showing up as well as the deserters camp getting bigger with more people. Or opposite where edgewater gets more power and gets better grip on itself and you can find the one lady dead up at the abandoned camp. But nothing changes AT ALL.. biggest pet peeve

Not everyone does this but.. run around and pick up EVERYTHING, break it to pieces or sell whatever you don't need to shop. 4. SAVE ALL YOUR MONEY! this will go directly into tinkering gear costs which will make you even more powerful.

When I started the game I was pretty impressed with how the first world looked. It was a surreal, vibrant world, completely opposite to the dull, grey world of Fallout. The graphics may not be that impressive when compared to the more graphically superior games this year, but it does have a sense of beauty about it regardless.

I just started, but I went in the opposite direction, found a camp of bad guys and one dropped an AR with over 200 damage. This is waaaay better than any of the "spacers choice" weapons you're gonna get at the start, or at least this is how it seems to me. I found a spacers choice AR a little while after while following the blip, and it only does around 100 damage. The One I took off the bad guys is waaaaaaaay stronger. also sacrifice the first pistol (if you can talk the guy out of it) to fix up the sawn off shotgun right away. you will get loads of these pistols, and the shotgun is a lot better for getting you out of a jam. I am not really spec'ing into mele, so need to make the most of my firepower.

An important thing to note about the deadly demonstrations perk and companions, is that whenever a companion skill kills an enemy, it gives 100% exp instead of the normal 50%. With Deadly Demonstrations this goes up to 150% as opposed to the 75% you get with Deadly Demonstrations. So when facing a single enemy it's worth trying to ensure the killing blow is delivered by a companion using their skill.

Two things Bethesda does that I wish Obsidian would have followed their example on: No more level caps, and a post-game so we can keep playing after the story is done. We should have to option to be the very best like no one ever was by being allowed to max our skills out, and anyone who doesn't want to do that could have just low-levelled the game to the story's end. And I want a game that will last me longer than a week. Why is Obsidian so obsessed with making endings that don't allow players to resume after the story is complete? It was like that in New Vegas too, but Bethesda remedied with DLC in Fallout 3 and made standard in FO4. Could we get a Mods patch so someone else can make that a possibility?

I did not take any of the time slow down perks so I had a hell of a time initially trying not to die ; ) One thing I did once I got to 1k bits was go in and purchase armor 17 and helmet 17. I did that at the end of level 3 and was worried I would not be able to use it until level 5 however I was able to use the armor. Once I got that armor on my rate of dying dropped down into a less stressful range. Of other note and I did not realize this until level 5 the tinker ability makes that light pistol worth a shit. this is a guide for people who have never played an rpg before, useful at that though.I'm against telling people what skills to use or to steal, that's roleplaying and every individual will play as they see fit

I actually just started this, was waiting for Switch version but heard it was a mess so I got the PC version. It was funny, I was playing it like Witcher 3 and grab everything, but if people are home and you steal from them, they do not like that.

''you'll be using sneak constantly'' game: lets you lockpick doors standing up without anyone noticing also the game: lets you steamroll through groups of enemies with the prismatic hammer

zoeblo paistinpannu The real important ones are hack and Lockpick. The high your skills, the less materials you will need to break into something. The easiest locks will require zero materials real quick.

also I picked the boost to vitality for my first perk, as I wasn't planning on investing into STR if I can help it, the extra boost to health seemed like a no brainer really.

TTD isn’t really used to spray fire when used since it depletes with every shot... what you need to do is hover over the enemies body parts and pick which debuff you want and fire accordingly

Hey @jv2017gameplay try and see if you can do neutral quests or counter quests. I saw there was a "botched" quest filter. Might be interesting to what failed quests lead to.

I hate to be that guy but i have to correct you on the topic of reputation. You Don't actually lose reputation, instead you gain both neagative and positive reputation, you can actually get 100% in both. A high charm stat will increase positive and decrease negative reputation.

I’m enjoying it, and it’s hard to put down the controller. It’s what Fallout should have been. My build is ranged , and is more of a Mercenary/ pirate. Love the Original Star Wars and have used Han Solo as a model for my build.
