It's funny you talk about affording the outlaw lol. I bought one today and didn't realize the US conversion rate was such a difference. It was like $102 and some change with 2 packs of personna blades but when I checked my balance I noticed it took out $147 and some change! I was like wow what happened!? It was the conversion lol. I thought it was only a couple few dollars. But hey from all the reviews this razor seems like it will be worth it and its something I'll have for a long time and could probably even hand down. I can't wait to try it out! Also ordered some stirlings executive man soap and after shave to go along with it. And a Simpsons Trafalgar t1 since I have a beard and will be mainly doing part of my neck and part of my cheeks so I wanted a smaller brush to use. I think the t1 will work quite well for what I need it for. Thanks for the video! Keep up the great work and stay safe!

I got this razor a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Certainly has a little bit of aggression with it, but at the same time it's a smooth and comfortable shave and very efficient. The handle is excellent also, loads of grip even with soapy fingers. You can tell a lot of time, effort was put into this razor's design, to get it to it's release model. Well done Executive Shaving 😀 👍🏼

200 ml is about 7 ounces for you non-metric people. That scent of the "cowboy boots" is not from the leather itself. Once it's been through the process, the leather it self only smells from the scent of the chemicals used. That's why English leather, Imperial leather and Spanish leather smell differently - traditionally they used different scents in the tanning process.

I have both the Mild and Standard versions of the Outlaw. Among the best there is out there. Quality craftsmanship and precision. I use Personna or Muhle blades. You don't need to apply any pressure with the Standard variant. Just let the weight of the razor do its thing. If I have over 4 days growth I use the Standard. If I have anything 4 or less, it's the Mild variant. Steve Tinter from Alpha Shaving has done a great job.

Isn't Brian the head of sales at Executive Shaving? From one Brian to another lol. I love their bay rum shave cream. Brian is a lovely guy. Great shave as usual! I got a Merkur Slant razor yesterday and it's exactly how you described this razor. As efficient as an R41 but without any irritation or nicks.
@karlhungus55544 жыл бұрын
I've wondered about slant razors, so I appreciate your comment. I recently bought a Gillette Slim Adjustable and have found it seems to irritate my face more than the Gillette Sensor Excel cartridge razors I've been using for the past 25 or so years. This was disappointing, as the disposable cartridges are quite expensive. I didn't think there would be any time needed for my skin to adjust to the Slim, since I'd been wet shaving for some 35 years. But, maybe that's not the case? My skin is quite sensitive -- especially on my neck. I'll try the Slim again, at some point. If no better, I suppose I'll sell it on eBay.
@iangarner88574 жыл бұрын
@@karlhungus5554 sorry Karl I've only just seen your response lol Ive not used a slim adjustable so I can't comment on that I'm afraid. The Merkur 37c Slant is lovely. I find the R41 makes me bleed if I go ever so slightly too hard with it. The slant is not as bad as that but extremely efficient. Its very small in the hand with a short handle. Try one you may well enjoy it! Is the Slim adjustable a slant razor? Sorry for my ignorance. I've got a Gillette Black Beauty on the way to me from the US. Thats my first vintage razor purchase.
@karlhungus55544 жыл бұрын
@Ian Garner - Hello, Ian. Thank you for the response. With KZbin's flaky notification system, I'm grateful you saw my message at all. The Gillette Slim Adjustable is not a slant razor. It's a simple straight bar razor. This is it: gilletteadjustable.com/slim Mine is from 1966. Congratulations on your vintage Gillette Black Beauty purchase. I hope you like it and it works well for you. Before giving up on my Slim, I'm going to try a different shaving cream -- something tallow-based. If that doesn't help, I'll try a pre-shave oil. Hopefully, one of those will work. If not, I may look into the Merkur 37c Slant. Wishing you well!

Hi, Dave from England here. You got it exactly right. It is a medium aggressive razor but shaves so smoothly! I am 57 but have scarred skin from acne when I was a teenager so it is difficult for me to shave without cutting off the little scarred bits of my face. The two shaves before I got the Outlaw was with the Wilkinson classic razor which is supposedly mild and it cut me up on both shaves and my face was left very sore. Needless to say when I first shaved with the Outlaw razor and a once used Feather blade I was very nervous. Well,.......I got a really smooth shave with no nicks or soreness!! Which actually doesn't make sense as this is a medium aggressive razor!! But I am not complaining the Outlaw is a superb razor. Do you think it shaves closer than your Rockwell? I have the 6c but haven't compared them yet as I have only just received my Outlaw. I loved your review, you seem like a really fun guy and maybe a little nuts.....like me!! 😅😅. I will subscribe to your site. Stay safe sir and happy shaving. Best wishes, Dave.

Executive shaving reckon that two passes with the grain will do you! I have yet to try it, but next shave when I've a few more days growth I will. I have only had one very careful shave with it. The two shaves before that were with the Wilkinson classic and it cut me up pretty badly and it is supposedly a mild razor!! I was amazed at how smooth the Outlaw was. I have ordered the other handle too. This Razor is real quality. Stay safe everyone, Dave.
