Plucking A! FanPluckingTastic!! This is the longest version of _Green Grass and High Tides_ I've ever heard...and I like it!

I've seen really extended ones at some of their concerts in the past but I agree, this might be The Holy Grail of GG&HT longevity on here.

RIP Freddie Salem (5/15/53 - 9/24/24) You might know him from his days of playing in the Outlaws. A true R&R Warrior if there ever was one.

At 5;50 it cut a part of the solo out! can you hear it. Fantastic still. Hughie and Billy are perfect together. Then Freddie added some cool stuff. RIP Hughie. Billy. You guys ROCK

The bands calling themselves the Outlaws aren’t even close. Hughie,Billy and Freddie made the band what they where. I wrote that song in St. Augustine, Florida. We went to a cookout on the beach and everybody forgot to bring their guitars. I was standing by the ocean and there was a breeze and the words kept coming to me. It’s about all the rock stars I liked that died had come back and were playing a show just for me. Like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison. And eventually more of course.

And Henry Paul has been mangling the Hughie lead vocals esp this one since 2007.

Just curious, does anyone know what the source recording is? Soundboard? Live radio presentation? Audience?

No. But it’s a great mix. Could very well be. Clean as can be! LOVE IT
