As a local to Haines at the time and now Baker City, you fellas really made my day rumbling through town. Grinning ear to ear from Sumpter into Baker and then finding your fleet take over Haines at the steakhouse that evening. The collection of vehicles was overwhelming, as it was a true delight to see them all properly enjoyed by being driven on these back highways. Thanks for sharing this. I’ll be watching numerous times to soak up the vicarious feelings.

OK peeps now create and curate a 'broker folks version eh? You could run a hooptie tour with support from HS community college and or tech school automotive training programs. OR next year I'l have the suspension on my 10 year old Kia soul fixed and just visit more of the state where I grew up.

What's the point of the rally ? How does one win? It just looks like a nice 4 day club ride I didn't see any competition I used to belong to a British car club and we would have sunday drives but we didn't call them rallies We did have poker rallies and timed rallies I just don't know how you can call this a rally

I think the original competitive meaning of the word "rally" has evolved within car culture over the past decade or so. While WRC and ARA are still competitive series of rally racing, many have started using "rally" to describe a mass of cars caravanning from one place to another with no competition or specific winners.

Not a rally and please don't call it a rally. Car enthusiast are supposed to enrich the car culture not make stuff up. This is more of a nice chilled drive which is good but not a rally.
