I am sorry to hear this news. You have taken some very historic footage over the years and it was lucky you were able to film many of the steam excursions that were run on the mainlines in South Australia.

do begging your pardon, but I can't say I'm very familiar with this engine, could someone do me a favour and tell me what class of locomotive 621 is?

No problem at all. In the next couple of days I will get some information on this class of loco together and send you through the details. I am not sure if you have looked on this channel already but there are quite a few videos of 621 in action in 2012 and last year in June.

South Australian Railways 620 class Pacific (4-6-2). Built for the broad gauge network between 1936 and 1938 at the Islington Workshops, Adelaide. Thems the basics, as I understand it. 😊

Hi Max. Do you have anymore information on the condition of Rx191? The last time I was down at Victor Harbor I drove past this particular locomotive, and I stopped to have lunch right opposite it but I didn’t take any video.

@@maxhighet4447 Hi Max. I just had a look at the video you made which goes right through Rx191. I would certainly like to make a video about the loco to help spread awareness with restoring the engine as it would be a very worthwhile project and it all helps with preserving the history of railways in Australia for future generations to enjoy. I am not sure when I will be back in South Australia, but I hope it will be sometime this year as I am keen to do more filming with the Rx class and in particular Rx224. Keep up the good work with your channel, I look forward to seeing more videos you upload.
