I think what broke me definitely was seeing Camila crying. The fact they made her a puppet, unable to move, do any facial expressions, or even know what's happening yet deep down she can sense her daughter just passed and can only muster the strength to shed tears is just beautiful as a storytelling device yet emotionally traumatic as a viewer. Literally the worst thing any loving mother wants to see. Damn the writers were on such an A game!

Luz means light, so when she died. The light that she had brought to Eda and King and to the Boiling Isles, disappeared. Any hope they had, gone because Luz was their light, she was the one who every single one out from the dark and made them see the beauty of the light. Eda learning to open up and reconnecting to her family. King discovering who he was. Amity learning that there was so much more in the boiling isles, creating and mending new relationships. Camila learning to accept her daughter as who she was and learning how to walk with her. Now their light gone, how do they move forward? Well at least that’s how I took it. There a whole lot more to it, but I need some sleep.

You're right! Luz made everyone's life on the BI better. Not only the people you mentioned, but she also helped Willow come out of her shell, literally saved Hunter's life and helped him realise the truth about Belos and escape him, helped Lilith reconnect with Eda, and helped the whole island by changing the education system. She did so much good for everyone even before killing Belos, and it's unfortunate it took her so long to realise.

Luz’s death was even more sad than Anne’s. She died in front of Eda, King and Collector, the remnants of her soul felt by her friends, schoolmates, Amity and even Camila, who felt like she lost another person in her family after her husband passed away. Luz may have been brought back to life, but resurrecting from the dead can change you in more ways than one.

For all that say "it’s Amphibia all over again", I say "Yes and No". True, their main protagonists "die" and get dissolved into light because of an heroic sacrifice. But that’s it. This is where the similarities end. Anne sacrificed herself on purpose because it was literally the only option she has left to destroy the Core for good, and the show is very ambiguous about whether Anne is really brought back to life (I personally believe in the "New Body, Old Soul"). Luz, on the other hand, merely acted on instinct. She wasn’t planning to sacrifice herself like the other times throughout the series. She just got panicked, and rushed to save the Collector, hoping to evade the attack and save herself at the same time. (Un)fortunately, it half-worked. Plus, she’s 100% confirmed to be brought back from the dead.

Actually it was confirmed New body same soul from the Guardian. He said when Anne asked how she still had a body he said "Oh I made an exact replica of you body before it perished" and Anne responded with "Woah hopefully that doesn't cause an identity crisis" so yeah its like she's the same Anne but not since her original body perished in the final attack.

I imagine that if The HexSquad was there to see Luz die, they’d all go raging beast mode with King and Eda as follows: Amity-Creates a massive sized Abomination that she controls from the inside/goes into a Darius-style Abomination form the size of Godzilla (Eyes Glow Pink) Willow-Creates a massive, Godzilla sized Plant Monster that she controls from the inside (Eyes Glow Green) Gus-Creates illusions of multiple giant Willow and Amity forms (as above) and possibly cover the whole Isles under darkness (Eyes Glow Blue) Hunter-Goes into Cardinal styled Harpy mode with speed dash/teleportation skills due to Flapjack’s spirit being literally part of him (Eyes Glow Golden Yellow)

I think Amity and gang actually sort of had a feeling on what those lights actually meant, since considering how willow and Amity reacted, they had a feeling but just isn't sure on what exactly is. Also, totally sure Hunter knew what those lights are. Again, they're just not sure on who exactly those lights belonged to... They did Afterall witness the exact same lights coming out of flapjack when he gave his life to save hunter. Which now I think explains Willows' sudden expression of extreme stress and anxiety when she noticed the lights. Afterall, out of all of them willow has the strongest maternal instincts, she probably had a feeling that it would've been from luz. They literally only had 3 options to consider after all on who to assume died.

I’ll admit, even though I knew she was going to be okay in the end, there was still that fear for a second that she was truly gone. Like I knew as a show targeted to kids (as well as adults obviously) they probably weren’t going to kill off the show’s main protagonist especially a child protagonist, but I was also so immersed in the story that a part of me felt how Eda and King must have been feeling in that moment. Absolutely devastating. A+++ storytelling by Dana and the rest of the team! So good, i ugly sobbed.

This is the reason why luz titan human hybrid transformation should’ve been permanent she died and she disintegrated she was disintegrated and then the Titan gave her an entirely new body he rebuilt her body for her at the molecular level as a titan human hybrid that’s why it should’ve been permanent and he used the last of his power then died in order to do that it should’ve been that he adopted her as his daughter and then used his power to transform her into a titan human hybrid if she wanted it and she took that to defeat Bellos but the reason why he offered it to her because he could’ve just given her an incredibly powerful magical artifact that would’ve disappeared after she had destroyed Bellos the reason why he gave her those powers and made her into a titan human hybrid or what it should’ve been was that he didn’t want her to die of old age long before King he wanted her and King to have the same lifespan and it was a simple as that he had considered her as his daughter because he knew that her Father was dead somehow he read her spirits mind when she was in the Inn between
