Back in July 2021 when this episode wasn’t out yet, I read the synopsis and somehow I just knew this was gonna be an important episode, the synopsis was “hooty helps everyone with their problems” and I was like “hmm… what kind of problems?” Like I just knew it was gonna be something important about luz and amity and when I actually watched the episode…. I was so proud my suspicions were true 👍🙃

One of my favourite epidodes!!! Knock Knock Knocking on Hooty's Door was one of those episodes that EVERYONE thought was filler....And then this happened! This is perfect, just in time for Pride Month! I love Lumity so much, and now they're finally canon!!! Yesssss! ✨🥺💜 And re-watching a certain part of the episode...hurts after recent stuff. But King has a power, Eda has a new harpy for and Lumity is canon! In her dream, Eda was bound to the owl beast by a red sting, showing the red string of fate. Really nice touch! And there were some underlying feelings about Luz thinking that she would be made fun of again, like everyone did back in the human realm which is pretty sad.

Hooty's face and happy sound as he reveals he's the pink swan is hilarious! Raine and Eda's breakup is so sad, especially since she's seeing it this time. I do want to see Eda's dad again though, and what his feelings on the Owlbeast Eda are(we've seen what Mom's thoughts already.) Amity straight up loving the Tunnel of Love is amazing. 10:15 , @alyciadweeb, you fucked with my head! And it only gets better as the season goes on.... Thought this episode was just gonna be a silly filler. It was NOT.

AHHHHH! I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw this episode it probably is my favorite episode (maybe all of them are just so good) but this made me love Hooty even more than I already did, this whole episode was just WOW and Amazing in so many ways! With King finding out that he's not an ordinary Demon and he has some kind of power (and we get to see King's potential family member), we find out about Eda's Dad and what happened, found out that Eda and Raine were a thing, and that Eda is now a Harpy lady?! And not to mention LUMITY IS CANON EVERYONE they are such an Adorable couple (And they only get cuter), but I will say at 6:12 let's take a second to realize what Luz said clearly a lot of people bullied/made fun of her for being who she is which is an Adorable and cheesy person (which I am too the more cheese the better! 🤣) Anyways I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!

Luz and Amity are very well written. and this is the turning point of the series part 1 was Luz arrives part 2 was Luz learns Magic Part 3 is Luz has a girl friend, King as Powers and Happie Eda Is so weird for me to watch any episode before this because I get used to the new normal. Purle Amity, King with his fixed horn etc and we also get to do speculations as the dreams and the recordings from the mouse give us small bits of several larger pictures. and looking at all these things reminds me 1. What the community got right and wrong 2. The Owl house has a lot of things going on that you don't think of 1st

In Eda's segment, when we see the perspective of the owl beast, and how it was captured, we see a tall, unknown figure. Their name is the Collector, and they were the ones who captured the owl beast, and turned it into a curse scroll (which later ended up on the black market, where Lilith found it.) Just wanted to say this, have a good day everyone! Also, happy Pride Month!
