It turns out it doesn't, and what we see here, according to a very expensive private investigator I hired, is apparently a stuffed plush toy of a fictional character. If it makes you feel any better I can say this with confidence: Rowlet are based off the Tytonidae family (barn owls) so technically you could get one with it wearing a bowtie. Also I say give it about two years and we may have Pokemon that are holograms roaming around. If we have Pokemon GO that uses agumented reality and some schools investing in pushing more VR like equipment, your dream may come true of having a round looking grass owl birb. I mean if we can get holograms of Miku hastune and the late Tupac, pretty sure we can get hologram Pokemon around us.
