I love these places being audited. It shows how bad the attitudes and culture is by staff, who many vulnerable people have to face and answer to. These places need to be closed down and replaced by Advice and Guidance centres, with caring, supportive staff, who will actually help people and their barriers to employment.

@@HarryWinks999 I did the calculations. JSA is £84.80 [max] for 26 weeks. 2,204.80. For Mr Average to save that from his national insurance he would have to work 16.3 weeks then he's in profit. In practice since you wouldn't be paying these numpties, it would be quicker. Is the DWP value for money? No PS. The government has a £16 trillion pension debt hidden off the books. Most of that is the DWP.

I was plagued by that for years. It turned out that the group doing it were my family and were known locally as child abusers. They were desperate to paint me as one of them. I had no idea, until in my fifties their own stupidity exposed them. However the police have refused to act. Since then I have connected several officers and civilian employees of the police to the ring that involves my family. It is not surprising to me as my father was the leader of the group.

I work in a buiding with 900 + staff and we have 2 security guards . For the life of me, I do not understand how these GSPs have between 3 and 6 guards that we are all paying for and there are less than 50 people in there . INSANE !

And I bet your two guards don't abuse the authority they've been given by their client. I can also confirm, no matter the staff numbers on site, us decent guards can deal with pretty much everything in a calm manner. The most I've dealt with as a lone guard, is 250 staff over multiple buildings on a site, with the ability to sweep through the whole site, without running, in less than 20 minutes (evac). Of course, there are nominated fire wardens too that help, but while they're all doing head counts, we/me (the guard/s) are still sweeping to make sure no one is left behind so time isn't wasted. A good guard will know every possible route, nook, and weak point in all situations.

They were so rude to me whilst I was waiting on a qualification result and looking for work. They kept reminding me how they could stop my payments at any time if I "didn't do exactly as I was told", going to the irrelevant job fayres and interviews they set up for me. And I could see what great pleasure they took in saying it. I'm a Pharmacist and they wanted me to be a nursery childcare worker. I can't imagine for someone more vulnerable how they bully and threaten them. The constant texts and emails made my job search 10x harder and they looked down on me every time I went in, they enjoy seeing people squirm in their seats. No wonder they don't want recording it's a bullying centre.

@John Tate - From the point of view of an ex-copper, I would say calling someone a paedophile when they are not constitutes a public order offence in the public area of a JCP office or outside it. It's harassment at the very least. Removing G4S from all government offices has to be a priority. In the vast majority of audit videos I have watched on YT, with few exceptions, G4S operatives are ill-disciplined troublemakers.

The whole problem in this one was caused by the Job Centre manager. It is incumbent on managers to know the legal position regarding public access to government buildings - rather than wasting police time in the way that she did here. The G4S guys are much lower paygrade and are bound to follow the lead that civil servant manager gives to them.

I was unfortunately made redundant and was unemployed for about 4 months (working now). G4S were a disgrace at my job centre, bullied people all the time trying to throw them out so they would get sanctioned, any excuse, don't say "bloody" to them or raise your voice, exactly what they are looking for. This was to single mums and desperately vulnerable people. I saw it pretty much everyday i went there. I really just don't understand how these people sleep at night, vicious , vindictive and nasty people. The job centre staff were even worse. Lets hope there is a GOD

What gets me, is why don't they have all these info and leaflets in one boarded area that is away from the desks and seating, so people can come in to the jobcentre and record it and then leave. Again the DWP are setting themselves up into an argument issue. Also the door entrance should state the rules of entry and clearly and about camera photo and video recordings in very large print so you can not miss it. They are the one looking for a argument anf conflict due to their mis mangement of communication and serving the public as civil setvants who are fully accountable at all times. Watch it thou, as some new Jobcentres are not DWP as they are fully owned and run by G4S, so no civil servants on site, as JBCP are being privitised off, so the building will be all private and entry will be by invite only. I seen a few already.

In his book " 7 Habits of Highly Effective People " Stephen R Covey states.... Start with the end in mind. If the end result is to get you to Not Film/Record claimants & they have already seen what you are doing (& not doing) surely the best method is to agree with you to complete your work amicably whilst they record & monitor you to ensure you are not a nuisance to anyone. You will be gone very quickly & Police not needed. No need to follow the Policy/Rules word for word. Stop... Leave....Or Police!! Just look at it practically!!!

That document, as I recall, states that filming is not allowed but explains what action G4S staff should take. I have been trying to find DWP advice on this issue but to no avail. I understand that you showed it in an earlier video but I have been unable to find it, assuming that it is not the G4.S copy. You were lucky this time but it could so easily end in you being illegally arrested or manhandled. It is much better to be able as a last resort to be able to throw their policy back at them in written form.

I don't know this as a fact, but who is to say that these G4S guards are not going home and drawing crude biro pictures of children they've seen that day and furiously tossing themselves off to their own artistic efforts, I'm not saying that's what they do, but there is nothing stopping them from emptying their balls at home over crude biro renderings of children, I think we need a governmental enquiry.

@@cypeman8037 In 1997, the government sold all jobcentres to a private company (trillium) with a agreement they would be leased back.Consequently all jobcentres are private buildings and not public buildings/publicly owned. This ‘auditor’ is exploiting a loophole in trespass law. trespass is a civil offence and police cannot be involved. If the nature of the trespassing is such that his behaviour cause a barrier/obstruction to the service, this is aggravated trespass and the police can be involved. All ‘auditors’ are skilled in ensuring they do not commit aggravated trespass and ,as in this example the police are powerless. As the ‘auditor’ is inside a private building, he can only film if the buildings owner, tenant, agent or representative allow him to do so. Filming in a public space is allowed . All ‘auditors’ interpret the inside of a building with public access as a public space. This in incorrect a private building is not a public space.The contradiction is obvious ie private is apposite to public. Once challenged, the result is always the same.As in this example,the ‘auditor’ is insolent, passive aggressive,obstructive hoping to provoke a argument for the benefit of the camera. I sense in this case, the ‘auditor’ leaves disappointed as the security staff resisted his attempts to obtain a row for prosperity. Worth the travel expenses?

I was pleasantly surprised by their non-agressive manner when the Cops first turned up but things soon began to go downhill when the one officer started into standard insididious questioning mode such as asking "where are you from?" and "What are your plans today". None of this appears to be his legitimate concern. The Cops approached PTTP first and should have begun by explaining why they had approached him before asking him for his version of events. PTTP explains his side of things and then the cop starts asking him when he intends to leave. None of this seems pertinent, there seems to be no obligation upon PTTP to leave and no grounds for the cop to even ask him. The cop should confine his activities to lecturing the Jobcentre staff upon the law and no more unless he is given reason to do so. It would have been nice to know what was actually said between the police and the Jobcenter staff and I think that this conversation should have been carries out in the presence of PTTP so that he and we could all see what was said. We didn't actually get to see what happened imediately before PTTP left and I wonder if the police actually made any attempt to encourage him to leave at that point because this would have been inapropriate. Overall the cops were not bad but made small errors. Who was the guy that PTTP accused of striking him on the arm? Was he some kind of shit stirrer?

I had something similar happen to me about wearing my motorbike helmet at the bank. They asked me to remove it for security purposes I told the cashier I was exempt. A right Karen shouted over to the cashier to ask him to remove it. the cashier told her I was exempt! then Karen came over and ask me to remove my helmet I told her I was exempt and her policy doesn't trump my rights under the disability act 2010 (equality act) said they can't serve me unless I remove my helmet I told them I was exempt she went and fetched the manager she ask for me to remove my helmet I told her I was exempt. then she said "I can't understand why you can't remove your helmet what harm can it do! I lost it told her I'm photophobic allergic to light. then they served me! the cashier rold me I can use the post office to do my transaction in the future.

Here's an annoying thing people do. She comes up, and tells PTTP that he can't film, and gives her reasons. PTTP questions her reasons. She then says, 'Look, I don't want to argue with you.' But this is exactly what she's been doing. She presented a premise and a conclusion, the jobcenter has GPR requirements that mean photography isn't allowed, and therefore PTTP can't film. So clearly came up to him specifically to argue with him.

Credit where credit's due, unless i missed something, that constable acted professional and didn't escalate the situation, and respected your rights, so fair play to him. My partner has a member of her family still entombed in a submarine at the bottom of the north atlantic, like so many others made the ultimate sacrifice for our rights and freedoms, only for some nobody (often from the fairer sex who never see the front line,) think they can create a policy to override what so many gave their lives for, makes me sick, well done yet again PTP.

PTTP tries too hard to explain the toss, takes too long trying to educate. As for me, i'd explain quickly what i'm doing then wouldn't repeat myself and definitely wouldn't engage the staff in their little 'Dance Of Circles' that they seem to enjoy so much. "I'm in here recording, no, i won't turn my camera off, no i'm not going to leave until i've finished", all spoken in a quiet and peaceful manner. :)

Agreed 💯… but let’s be honest, he wants clicks and wouldn’t get any if he didn’t escalate situations. Many I’m sure pretend to be interested in ‘job boards’ but that to me is nothing but the excuse used to rattle individuals, get the police involved for further repetitive conversations and to then have an opportunity to quote laws etc…. Admittedly, some do behave like idiots and why in earth they aren’t just trained how to respond is beyond me!
