Chelsea I am from Oahu. Born and raised. Never in my life have I see crime rate go up. Homelessness is a big issue as well. The islands used to be safe and filled with aloha and you can hardly find that anywhere now days. All I say is good luck and respect the locals. Because if you don’t and I’m just being honest. You won’t enjoy your time here if you don’t. Not to sound rude. Just being honest.

I wouldn’t want to move to Hawaii either. Lol It is one of the most expensive places to live. Crime is at an all time high now days. Homelessness is growing by the day. It’s not how it seems on tv. Vacationing is different as well. Everything is overpriced. If you plan on moving to Hawaii plan wisely. Make sure you have enough funds to live here. Low income in Hawaii is about $96,000.
