I'm in a complete denial with regards to this ending. As an act of preservation my mind has refused to acknowledge the fact he dies. So I live pretending that they both returned and lived long lives together. I don't think I will even be able to face the truth.

Life and love can be fleeting you never know when a loved one will b gone, as far as that song those French children were great, and if you look up the lyrics it is quiet little childrens song but it hits the mark here, and yes I did cry, because people can if they have an honest heart can fall in love, when they did not feel that way at first, and then you get that picture of the little fellow at the end, clearly Walters child, how great was that how great a movie.

Why did she start crying while reading the notes. Could it be that there she found out that Walter had been experimenting on himself like in the books? Did any one feel this way?
@ericday45052 жыл бұрын
I think the realization set in that she would never see him again, when my mom died, we took her to the hospital, and she expired, and all the while I was being strong for the women in our family, when we got back home and got out of the car I knew I was about to lose it, so I faked like I had to go the bathroom, and let me tell you I cried like never before or since, because coming into the house I realized, oh shit my mom is gone, and I will NEVER see her again, in this life. That is what I think may have happened here. However I did not read the book so I could be wrong.

@unicornowner9993 It took a while, for me, and our family was tight, at that time anyway, but I just remembered the great times we had, and to that story, as I came out the bathroom, and sat on the bed my brother came over and said, don't cry Eric, we will see her again, and his voice had an authority that I never heard him speak with before that, so instantly, right then I knew I would see her again.
