There are so many fine musicians that play so nice, but there are so few that play so wonderfully like 'themselves'. Dave is one of those! There is just one 'Dave Gonzalez'.

No one plays a groove the way Dave, Tom, and Brian lays it down. Just plain SOLID.

This is amazing. Dave’s tone & playing on this are mesmerizing- they’re so on

That bass player is quite a versatile guy. Not only does he lay down a mean groove, but he will paint any car for $99.95.

Whoa -- check out that key change at 1:57. In all the times I've seen them play this song live (and that's a lot), I've never seen 'em throw a key change in there like that. Interesting.

The Paladins are definitely a Rockabilly band but this is a Blues song, first recorded by Otis Rush on Chess Records in January 1960 as I'M SATISFIED. Rockabilly started out as hillbillies playing Blues and R&B so it's all the same anyhow. That's why we just call it "Roots music".

2nd best rockabilly (thats what he calls himself rockabilly even if it is a little bluesish) guitarist alive under Brian Setzer and one of the best blues improvisers to ever live.

He must have recorded it twice because I quoted straight from the liner notes of CHESS BLUES GUITAR. Those cats did that a lot back then so it wouldn't be unusual.
