EU4 Palatinate is stronger than ever in Europa Expanded due to its upgraded mission tree. Playing in the HRE can be stressful due to aggressive expansion and the emperor requesting to return unlawful territory and that's why I decided to dismantle the HRE in this video. 400 LIKES = Part 2 where I'll showcase the new Rhenish formable - Rhineland!

The cantons subject type can be best described as a mixture of a trading city+a regular vassal (they don't cost a dip relation to maintain but you can only have 4 as a consequence, I believe that's all. There might also be a size dev limit to'em but I honestly forget, been a bit since I've last played the swiss)

There is a new Europa Expanded Update called Terra Incognita releasing in a couple of months and one of the updated countries was Rhineland lol

You should try to set it up so the rheinland has the borders of the rhein watershed as close as possible

You should play saxony or Bohemia both have crazy mission trees in EE and you can form Prussia for another crazy mission tree.

hey, if you use an extended timeline mod or an expanded mission mod, do you need all the dlcs? also.. what are the names of the best versions of those mods? ive seen various and never sure which one to use, thanks

hi, i left the link to the mod in the video description and no you don't need to own dlcs but i'd still recommend owning them or the steam subscription for the best experience p.s i dont use any other mods other than what I disclose in the video and its description

@@GolemEnt ive got most of them up to emperor.. i cant really see the point in keep buying one at a time when often they will then sell all of them in one go for $30 on some deal.. people who buy full price dlcs one at a time will probably have spent $500 so far? i bought all mine for $30. i didnt know if there is some ticking thing in the mod install to say which dlcs you have.. when i use fallout 4 mods, sometimes it asks you questions like that when u install the mod

The mods I played so far were recommended by the viewers and I wasn't disappointed. You can check out my other videos for Europa expanded and Ante Bellum, maybe you'll like something about the gameplay or just you know download them and try them out anytime to see if it suits your needs. They're not only popular if we speak about download counts but once you play them enough you can see how much work the creators put into them

@@GolemEnt do they expand all of the nations missions? i feel like eu4 should have all nations with different mission trees and all nations able to form other nations.. if it were me making it, id have say minor nations, mid nations, big nations, super nations.. so say 6 or so minor nations can form into a mid nation, 6 or so mid nations can form into a major nation, and 6 major nations could form into the super nation.. for example smolensk forms muscovy, forms russia, forms soviet union.. or something like that each one has its mission tree, or maybe you could go.. crimea, forms golden horde, forms, russia, forms soviet union.. but also every level of nation should get gradually better national ideas.. what annoys me sometimes is when i finally form a nation and its worse than the original one.. id also get rid of the tech requirements.. cos although it might be historically accurate.. hardly anyone ever plays til tech 18-20 and i dont see why when i already own all of africa, the middle east and asia, why id suddenly form Arabia.. its just plain silly

Wait hang on, there is no "Rhineland" formable tag, so what is the rhenish people formable in the HRE? Like Swabia, Hannover, Bavaria, Franconia and others

You can’t put form Rhineland in the thumbnail, and then not do a second part where you form Rhineland. Plus I want to see more of the missions, I’m willing to bet your tree expands upon forming them. Unrelated to that, if you do play as Serbia, perhaps go for the Lazarus achievement if you don’t have it already?
