Hello there Mr. Ozzie tech from Vancouver, Canada. I am starting a music studio video channel as I admire your wonderful footage. I researched and the Panasonic VX1 and it seems to be the best in in it class. However, it's been out for a while now and I'm wondering, before I purchase, if there will be a newer model coming soon to replace it. Maybe there already is? Thanks for any advice!, Jim

I am not aware of any new Camcorder to replace the VX1 from Panasonic at this stage.

Great camera but pity it was such a grey and heavily overcast day. Brisbane is normally full of rich color :)
