I criticized the Goth house too because I always liked that they were this dark, rich, maybe even snobby family and, obviously, because they're in *every* Sims game. But I don't understand why people attack you personally or become rude. No one's forced to use the build or can change it once you publish the file. I wouldn't have done it that way, but this is your vision and idea, not mine. People shouldn't take everything too serious sometimes... Edit: I really love this build and you're truly talented in what you're doing

Wow, some peeps would've ripped me a new one, then, because in my game, after Bella ran away with Bob Pancakes, Mortimer married again, and his new wife totally gutted and renovated the house. 😂😂 She went with an industrial theme, haha. But yeah, Bella kept flirting with Bob at the Rattlesnake, so finally I just had him go for it. He never had made it out of his room and into Eliza's, so yeah. They're married with two kids, a boy and a girl, Bob lost the weight, and they live in a Victorian townhouse in Newcrest. Congrats on being chosen as a Game Changer!

reason why I love your builds is the realism you put into it. little things like having a bathroom on the main level or not having a fridge or cabinet blocking a window- make your build so realistic like I wanna live in it!

I love how much backstory you gave to Eliza and Bobs dysfunctional marriage just in the build alone, like Bob being a failed actor and Eliza always wishing for a grander life, i can feel the tension and you haven't even showed the sims!

I know this is 2 Years old but I know that some people said that they Deleted or killed Eliza and got Bob a new Wife. I honestly think that it would be cool for that. Get Bob a new Wife and with her he has his kid. I don't remember the kid's name but the one that Maxis made is the one I would want to use. Wonder what you can do with the Relationships to work though so it says for the Kid Mom and Dad, for Bob and the Wife Son and so on. And if he would have a new Wife what would her name be which would make him happy?

I think that everyone was a little bit pissed bc the Goth family is a traditional family in the game. I mean, they appear in every the sims game, and they always had this gothic/dark style. Their entire story is a huge mystery, so that's why their house is a little bit creepy. For example, they always had a huge graveward and their house is always infested with ghosts. They are known for that. I know that on the sims 4 they look like a very happy family, but that's far from it actually haha So that's why I think that some people thought that your renovation didn't fit their personality. But I respect your opinion and I really liked that renovation video, this is your save and this is your style after all! Also, keep up the great work, I'm loving these videos!

Hey a friendly tip: 60s kitchens follow triangle with equal distances for most important features. Fridge - sink - stove all 3 are very close to echother. Fun Idea to play with

My Bob and Eliza dislike each other more now because I gave them a son and now they argue about parenting too. I actually like they way you did the goths I think people envision the goths their own way. Like I would have made it modern with vintage glamour stuff. That's why I like these videos seeing families in other peoples eyes. The sims is all about playing the way you want and there is no right or wrong. I played with the pancakes, I made Eliza a younger sister, she was moving home with her after college and gave them their Maxis created son. I didn't play long, but I really enjoyed it and don't understand why everyone hates Eliza so much!

I have a habit of leaving the houses that come with the games alone even if I don't like them, as though its some sort of taboo. I totally agree on the preteen state. Of course that preteens are still kids, but they are kids developing to adolescence, so there is a big gap between being a kid and a teenager. 12 to 14, although is just two years, it's the years that kids are not teenagers yet, but they are surely not small children anymore, it is that phase of development where their tastes change, they start having mood swings, I mean, my view of world changed A LOT when I was 11 to 14. It was a whole lot. It could also make the sims games way more interesting. Like, the toddlers they made in the sims 4 were a HUGE development for me because it feels like the toddlers have growth to become a child. It would be amazing if we had this development with kids and preteens.

When I played the Pancakes, Eliza literally died the day she gave birth 😂 She burnt some food and caught on fire and Bob was too scared to save her. So Bob became a single Dad and raised their daughter

The story of The Pancakes family in my game is that Bob & Eliza are divorced. Eliza is not a happy person & until she can find happiness within herself she can never be happy and no one can make her happy. That is why she surrounds herself with the finer things in life. She thinks material things will give her the happiness she seeks. Because of her spendthrift ways she has had to have her cousin, Amber Stein move in with her to help pay the bills. Amber works as a Comedian so she isn't exactly rich herself. Eliza wants a wealthy husband but doesn't have the confidence to find one. Bob Pancakes lives alone and is saddened by his divorce from Eliza. He has been on a few dates but he is so gloomy he has a hard time keeping interested in the ladies he dates & they lose interest in him when they find out how troubled he is by his divorce. Hopefully, given time, he will go on to find someone that loves him for who he is not how much money he makes.

It definitely sucks you got full on hate-comments for the Goth renovation. Like I said in that video, I definitely would've preferred you keep the gothic tone of the house on the inside, but it wasn't so serious that I would make a full-on hate comment about it. If anything, I’d probably just download the house and fix the interior coloring to fit the goth-style. If I remember correctly, the Goths were actually based on the Adams Family, hence their gothic nature. Even though Bella doesn't wear black, she was actually made to be very ”sexual” like Mortia was. There were even hints throughout the games that she had an occult family history back in southern and eastern Europe.

I had eliza divorce bob after having a son named Kaleb. She switched back to her maiden name of Maple (a name I decided lol) bob is now a fisherman in brindleton bay and Eliza is a grade school teacher raising their son alone in Willow Creek. They divorced because bob never helped with anything.
