The point is that it is the basketball Hall of Fame, not just the NBA Hall of Fame. Al Horford is also a two-time collegiate national champion. Taking that into consideration, I do believe he is a Hall of Famer.

It’s the basketball hall of fame.. My boy got 2 NCAA titles and a NBA title plus a 5 time all star and that’s the standard.. It’s not many 5 time all stars who didn’t make the hall .. Key part of them Atlanta teams who was top 3 in the east and the cornerstone to this Celtics team.. He ain’t first ballot but he definitely getting in..

They made it seem like Al wasn’t an integral part of this team, he adapted to his game to shoot 3s snd guard the likes of Giannis, Embiid and switch 1v1 with Luka lol (Chill said Noah better defensively) this championship cemented a case for him in my opinion just because he started and throughout the years completely shifted his game and been a vocal catalyst for Boston.

Outside of Dennis Rodman you should have made at least 5 All NBA teams (5 years a top 15 player) to even be considered for the Hall. Ben Wallace is 5x All NBA with 4 DPOYS & a ring and led the league in a few categories & people still doubted him. Al Horford is NOT a Hall Of Famer, sorry.
