It's going to sound like I'm using the wrong word... but the Paper Kites are perhaps the most SOULFUL band I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. They have the ability to take me somewhere, SPIRITUALLY, like no other musical band can. And by "spiritual" I don't mean "religion." I mean that they take me to that place in the ethos that you can't contemplate with your bare eyes, or touch with your bare hands. That place you can only see with your THIRD EYE, and feel with your HEART. This song -- and all of their others -- is very moving and stirring, and is a tribute to life itself, I think. Love your work Paper Kites! Keep em coming!
