There is so much of my old man that has passed away. But I do not have the Spirit. Does this mean there is still too much of the old man left in me? I am trying in every way to give myself to my Father. I possess some fruits of the spirit, but I can not do the supernatural, or have the ability even to try it seems. I am a prisoner to fear. I even fear that I will never be free of fear. I believe; Oh Father, help me with my unbelief !

There are such horrific ramifications if one truly believes the poisonous lie that the Royal Law was nailed to the cross. In fact it makes no sense. When we repent for sin, we are acknowledging the Law is still active and valid, otherwise no repentance would ever be needed. HI There is no formula! But the two events, water baptism in response to hearing and accepting the gospel, and the infilling of the spirit of Yah, can be separate, in my case by many years. Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua.

You can be baptized in the Spirit before water baptism, they are two completely separate things. However both can happen at the same time too, and I believe Father desires it all to happen at the same time.

Ok so i was baptized in catholic Church,even though I am no longer catholic,I do know in whos name I was baptized,so what now?should i renounce my baptism and go somewhere else to be baptized again. Question is pretty stupid but also realistic,so i wonder what is your opinion on it,and i want rest of the believers judge this case.Thank and God bless 😊

I baby that is baptized has no meaning why??? A baby doesn't know any sin when you are getting older you know what sin is and that's why when you are baptized and your gonna take Jesus as your lord and savior you are making that choice a baby can make that choice to be saved but you and i ho are old enough to make a choice can take Jesus as your Lord and savior and baptized why?? Because you made that choice to be baptized. I hope you understand what I said.

Batism is done after repentance. Babies cannot repent.. it was a meaningless baptism.

I was "baptized" and raised Catholic. Usually their "baptism" is just a sprinkling of water on a child's head (non-biblical). The child is usually unaware of what's being done. As an adult I got baptized (completely submerged in water) at a beautiful river. Jesus did it this way, and I would recommend to follow His example. Blessings to you!

HI A baby baptised in a Catholic church is recruited into the Catholic Church by this process! This does NOT baptise you into the body of Christ and fellowship of those baptised into His death and resurrection, because the Catholic Church is Pagan. It's rituals and doctrines prove that, they are at odds with the Bible. Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua.

Dear Yohannan, I had a similar question time ago : ) If you read John 3 you will understand what Mashiach tried to share with Nicodemus (and all of us have been a Nicodemus in some point of our lives) that born again is needed.. and that's is what baptism mean in our life. Only you will know when is the right moment to reset your "life odometer" to 0 Km again, to learn how to walk in the right way, with His help and guidance; the one and only way that has pressure and trials but has light and healing in the end, the only way that could take us back to our Creator, because is the way to Life; He gave us the instructions and knowing them won't be of any help if we don't live by them, if we don't learn how to love him properly, how to live according His house's rules... He is our only help, through his own right hand, his very own son, our Savior Yahushua ha Mashiach, the door waiting for our knocking, when we look for him with all our heart, mind and spirit... Needing Him so much that we will realized that we only need him to be our Elohim, our King, our Life, our Friend, our Doctor, our Lawyer, our Everything... in that moment you would realized that you would need to get rid of the old man and become a new creation in Him and not perish, because being far away from Him is the ultimate death that He wants to avoid with all His power but with our free will... in that moment you will feel that being under the waters represent to die to the old man and rise again as a new creature thanks to the sacrifice of our Mashiach, our High Priest before our Eternal Father... and that will be your real baptism... May our Father bless you and keep you; and also all the creation that is struggling during this process of becoming any part of His kingdome, because we need to be protected while we are learning every day on His path and want and need to be part of His eternal love someday...
