Here is an example of parasitic empathy: In the Simchat Torah disaster on October 7th in the morning, an hour after the start of the criminal attack by Hamas. It is already known that Israelis are being slaughtered. In the government offices, the legal advisor was waiting with dozens of lawyers to emphasize that there will be no shelling without straw in the roof or other illusory laws. In the morning, she did not allow war to be authorized and thus save Israelis from the terrorists because she unexpectedly suffered a parasite, preventing the army from functioning quickly and decisively when it is concerned about the safety of the terrorists.

I wonder if Gad's ever read Mark Stavish's 'Egregores' book. The word 'egregore' has been getting popular in the political analysis and complex systems space. The idea of them seems to hit on a similar kind of thing as 'mass formation' but it goes more in the direction of intentional clusters of people creating something like beings through their own interactions (whether that's a metaphysical thing or just an agreement between mirror neurons) where the end result is at least 'as if' there were group minds moving people.

Subscribed! Mario, you are one of the most clear-headed interviewers I've seen on KZbin and Gad Saad is easier to understand than Jordan Peterson (no shade). Saad helped me to understand the proper academic language for the emotional parasitic disjunct in Peterson's thinking vis-a-vis Dave Rubin; with this single exception, Peterson's "deontological" position on biology is uncompromized. However, when it comes to Rubin and his "husband," Peterson's biology becomes "consequentialist," especially when Dave's child is named Jordan, in which case the degenerative sexual genome implied in gay male sperm becomes incosnequential in Peterson's mind to the established patterns of the species. This suggests that said "suicidal empathy" can be selective; in other words, the parasite of postmodernism creates blind spots in an otherwise foolproof thesis. Thus transhumanism" and its lunatic "feminist" program of discouraging natal pregnacies in women is augmented by men in the post-natal role, which gives a green light to Franken-queer genetics like "Ex-vivo reproduction," which according to Dr. Michael Eisenberg, will not even require female DNA! Thus unless "Be fruitful and multiply" somehow can be translated from Hebrew to "multiply the fruits," the referee of Jordan's wrestling match with God must be the empathy parasite THEY-SELF! That having been said, American politics owes Dr. Peterson a HUGE debt in neutralizing MOST of the transhuman "WOKE mind virus." However, the remnant surviving that suggests that male and female make no difference in nurture may be enough for industry that seeks to use gay male DNA in motherless birth pods to make families for affluent gay men may be enough to reduce nature to a "social construct." However, the operative question will be: Will these offspring still be truly HUMAN...??? PS: In case anyone tries to read "anti-semitism" into this comment per Rubin, you two guys are my favorite Jews since Martin Buber.

I am curious to know if Grad's views of religion have changed since his video "Morality Exists Despite Religion" was published seven years ago. Given that religions have arisen in every single human culture--alongside morality--is the religious impulse not as biologically driven as morality? I find the hubris and condescension of many intellectual elites towards religion as shallow and childish as are the views of simpleminded fundamentalists. Shouldn't evolutionary biology have something to say about the universality of religion that is not dismissive?
