I wonder how this compares to the new night stalker they offer. I have a oneleaf clip on and its nice but the whole extra 5 inches on the back of my scope is a pain. I am familiar with it though and it has been a nice option to remove and add it whenever i need it but not go all in on a dedicated digital.

I know this is a old ish video, how is the clarity at night with this combo? I might get a mk4 HD but if it's crap with the pard then I might go for something different

Cheers for the video mate. Very informative. What sort of range would you get from this setup with the Leupold for night hunting? I have a Leupold vx5hd and also a PBIR (from my last nv setup). I am about to purchase a 007sp and was a little bit apprehensive about the range, especially after reading so many forums/reviews about the higher quality glass coatings affecting the efficiency of the pard. Great video! This nightvision device from Pard can be used with any scope, regardless of the magnification? I ask you because I tried to mount a Hikmicro Cheetah nightvision clip-on device (which is fixed in front of the objective lens) but the scope magnified that small display in the device was much too strong and the pixels were clearly visible + that you couldn't see the entire display, unable to make the settings because of that... I mention that I own an IOR Crusader 5.8-40x56 scope whose initial magnification is too high, the ideal value would have been 3, not 5.8! On the night vision model with mounting before the scope (diopter) as in your case, does it matter that the scope has very high magnification? Thank you in advance !🙏

Not massively, it just means your field of view will be tighter . But it will still work

It does close over all image a little but but depends on magnification of the scope.. Great unit overall.

A clip-on thermal imaging device for this IOR 5.8-40x56 scope model, could you recommend me, so as not to encounter the same problem, the magnification is too high? From what I understand, the very expensive models carry high magnifications, over 5. ..this is true? The people at Optics Warehouse suggested HIKMICRO Thunder 2.0 Pro TQ50C 2.6x 50mm 20mK 640x512px 12µm Smart Thermal Clip-On, that it would work... From your own experience, do you think it would work on 5.8 magnification? Thank you very much!

Do you need a parallax ajustable scope to use with this Pard or will the pard focus clearly without one please ?

That's a leupold mk5 5-25.. A lower mag scope would be better
