@@PaTxVideographer sometimes its about what’s best for your family. Internally he and his sons probably have a goal to go pro and the knock they going to have on them is the lack of competition there and that he had the transfer portal to bring in D1 talent to Jackson. He was already getting hate from the 5 letter networks from his time at Prime U which was a great story that didn’t get the attention that it deserves. He took a huge part of his salary to improve the facilities at Jackson that I believe most wouldn’t do and use sponsors to he those boys to travel. I would of for him to stay too but we know the behind the scenes hate is real and sad.

Coach prime passed through like a shooting comet and blessed those kids...that university, and HBCU’s as a whole. He did 50 years of work in just a few years if you truly analyze it on a grand scale. It may have stung at first but those young men and women on campus understand that his decision to leave isn’t desertion, but they are still being included and will be going along for the ride. Coach Prime’s success will also be their success. Prime and Jackson State are forever linked. This isn’t a moment to voice displeasure but rather a moment to celebrate and to say thank you!

Are you sure you didn't mean infect? Satan has deceived so many just like God said he would in the last days. Many quote scripture and claim to know God, but that doesn't mean they are His.* We know that Satan has knowledge of both scripture and God, but he is not a child of His. We are all God's creation, but we are not all His children. In *John 8:44,* Jesus tells a group of pharisees that the devil is their father. Hitler, Saddam Hussein, the KKK etc are all God's creation but not His children. They all had the opportunity to be, but they rejected him. The book of Romans makes it clear who God's children are. *"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."* (Romans 8: 14) *"The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."* (Romans 8:16) Now, I say all that just to say this: If you have been divorced twice and shacking for the past 10 years, you are fooling yourself. That's not being a child of God that's being a fornicator. In *1 Corinthians 6:9,* the bible teaches that no fornicator will inherit the kingdom of God, which means that a fornicator is not God's child. God will never send a child of the devil who is a practicing fornicator to develope character in a group of young men, whether at JSU or CU. *"Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”* (1Corinthians 15:33) Neither will He send someone who would hire or invite coaches, rappers and ex-nfl players to use profanity and vulgarity to motivate young men. Please join me in praying for the deliverance of the ex JSU head football coach. I think that collect call he talks about might have come from Athletic Director Ashley Robinson, but certainly not the God of the Bible whom I serve!😇

JSU always had a winning culture the team just had some down years with the previous coach and his assistant who was elevated after he was let go. All the jerseys are nice, but none of that matters if it turns out he left too soon to make the change sustainable. I mean the team has worn multiple helmets and jerseys before. He just came up with some new ones. Also, the school had athletic sponsorships already. They switched to UA because Prime was UA.
@SonicBoomC98

@@TChalla007 It wasn't like the school never had multiple jerseys and helmets before. Almost all those jerseys where variations of ones that already existed. Yes he did bring a few new helmet designs. But I think people fail to realize that were a few things already in the works when he was hired. Also all that is just visual. Things like uniforms are nice, but the more important thing whenever you leave a situation is if you put the infrastructure in place or them time to put it in place themselves to sustain it once you're gone.

I appreciate that we were able to see this!! I'm one of those that is a little disappointed that Deion chose to move on, but not from a place of anger. I'm truly happy that he moves on for a higher profile and more lucrative position, but I think this video truly shows how much impact Deion has. It seems that these young men admire Deion as their coach and as a role model wish is what I think will truly be missed. Deion has a sort of gravity and charisma that gives him the ability to do things that others aren't, and this could have been used to leverage much more change at JSU and possibly beyond. There is a blueprint now, but I think it's on JSU, other HBCUs and us in the community to make sure that these schools have the best and brightest in all aspects so that someone like Deion isn't needed to completely change the culture for dozens of universities.

Well done faithful servant, well done. It’s not over. I love it so much! Thank you soooo much Coach Prime for sealing the deal having HBCU games shown ESPN plus! It was a joy to see my son on ESPN plus under high quality production instead of on youtube recoding. Thank you for helping fellow HBCU coaches building the camaraderie within the HBCU nation. You gave us reason to live and celebrate just like you did in the 90’s. It was something to look forward to. Thank you Lord for allowing him to inspire in the Lord.

Hey Bucky, Coming from a Colorado Buff who grew up as a Prime fan in the 90's, watched your father coach Shedur in highschool, and continue to watch from a far. I just want re-emphasize that your pop is doing God's work! You been through the system. You know how those coaches don't give a DAMN about players. The opportunities your pop has given and the way he loves his players its different. I hope I can tell him that to his face one day.

My high-school coach, Tom McCormick, left to coach the Minnesota Vikings backfield after my junior year, 1962. Of course I was saddened, but also happy that MY coach was going to the pro's. When they played the Niners I was allowed to go onto the field after the game. I met Bill Brown, fullback, and Carl Eller, defensive end. I asked Mr. Eller if I could put on his helmet. He said "sure kid". Even though coach Mac left, I used everything he taught me, especially the mental part, and became a captain my senior year. My parents couldn't afford to send me to college, but a football scholarship did. Full ride. Eventually became a pediatric dentist. I wish more of my teammates took advantage of the education. Most do not. I believe coach Prime also passed on the importance of the mental part of the game. Take what he taught and make him proud. Stay strong! Boy from the projects.
