No matter which angle I view from, the sculptures truly belong to Greece. I sincerely hope and pray that all the artifacts are returned to Greece soon. ♥️🇬🇷♥️

I deeply do believe they should be returned! I think the effect it can have could be a positive one for Hellas! It is the land of light! I can only imagine that it can be a positive catalyst for a cultural renaissance for Greece. It can inspire a symbolic act of unity, a reunification of a cultural legacy stolen and dispersed could be felt and celebrated by Greeks, the diaspora, and the philhellenes. A boost in tourism, artistic traditions, educational initiatives, positive relationships between nations; promoting mutual respect for such an enduring country that deserves respect! 🙏🏼🌿

The artifacts belong to the country of origin. The same is valid for the stone of rosetta (also in the british museum). The time of imperialism and colonialism is over, especially for england. The british museum would not have a lot to offer without the "legaly" procured artefacts
