I mean, that's the arc, right? She strings them along while she gets hooked on the game, they find out it's a set up just when she's really getting into it, they reject her, and she has to do something dramatic to convince them she's for real, possibly demonstrating willingness to give up her scholastic goal for the sake of the party, and they finally accept her as one of them. It's pretty classic. What will be interesting is how they *subvert* the standard storyline. Possibly by doing something completely different, I mean, what do I know? ^_^

I really relate to Viola at the end. I mean, I know it's not the same situation - but I have created characters with interesting pathos and backstories while being a complete Newbie to the game (and then those campaigns have never lasted longer than like, 3 sessions, so I still feel like a complete Newbie to the game haha)
