Thank you for uploading this. I first met Khempo Appey Rinpoche at the 1981 celebration of Lam Dre at Puruwala in the north of India in the foothills of the Himalayas. As soon as I entered his presence, I knew who he was. He was so quiet and low key. He graciously offered a chair, insisting that I sit next to him and asked a young monk to serve tea. We became friends immediately. Then again, during a break in the Lam Dre ceremonies, I went with my friend, the late Sonam Tenzin, down to the Sakya College, As soon as we came in to his presence again, he ordered tea and biscuits. He invited us to stay at Sakya College. Just now it is so good to see HH Sakya Trizen, once more, who is, himself, a living Buddha. Also, Khempo Jorden whom I will never forget for his kindness and intelligence, when he came out to Portland, Oregon to stay at our center, Chogye Chonzo Ling. Though it quickly dissolved due to unseemly politics, it was originally founded in honor of H H Chogye Trichen Rimpoche.
