As a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do I know the word "respect" is key. This gear is outdated and bad for your hands. It's also bad for business as who wants to pay for an injury. At work, on a date, whatever, it's looks bad and is. Modernization does not have to be a bad thing. Arthritis is a painful thing, and a nice punching bag is advised to avoid it.
