I’m currently in the army with two years left as a drone pilot, getting a Paralegal AAS and plan on working that for practical experience. Can I just go apply to law school after my degree or do I need to attain a bachelors?
@AngelaVorpahl3 ай бұрын
Good question! I'm almost positive every ABA-accredited law school requires a bachelor's degree, but I would look into non-ABA-accredited law schools to see if any don't.

I'd looooove to go to law school, but I'm 37 already, and I'll be getting my masters this spring. I work full-time and have a family. Could you make a video for people in my case, is there hope for us? Also, how would we pay for it, what kind of resources and aid are out there?
@AngelaVorpahl10 ай бұрын
The short answer is YES definitely lol! I know it's not talked about much, but there's an entire community of nontraditional law students who have pursued other careers paths and lifestyles before deciding they want to go to law school. And in a lot of ways, that's really valuable to law schools and law firms. The first step I would recommend is to watch the "Nontraditional Law Students" KZbin video that I created because it encompasses information from quite a few interviews I did with nontraditional law students, and their thoughts on the process of getting into law school, choosing a full-time vs. a part-time program, and getting a job out of law school. (They also have all made themselves available for informational interviews if you'd like to reach out and ask them further questions, which is awesome.) :: In terms of resources for paying for law school, they'll be the exact same as "traditional" law students - i.e. scholarship money directly from law schools (based on the strength of your application and in LARGE part based on your LSAT score), as well as scholarships from private institutions. :: I also run a free FB group for law students and aspiring law students that has a large cohort of nontraditional law students inside that you can connect with and ask questions to to get a sense for their experience and how they financed their degree - would you like the link to join?
