I have one question, if I already have a skill assessment with 7 years and 4 months on my occupation (experience offshore) by now 8+ years and I am intended to go and study in a state, do I need to do 1 yr of post-qualification? Is Australia still a good place? Because from what I can see, the offer for skilled visa has increased BUT along an increase of minimal points to get such a visa 💩. I can see that NSW and QLD offered skilled visas almost exclusively to people with at least 75 points. It's definitely 10 points higher than before.

Was just wondering I got my first engineering qualification from overseas, then proceed to having a diploma in Project Management in Australia Melbourne, do I have to work in a project management field as the nominated occupation, or I could nominate engineering jobs as long as its accredited by the Washington accord based on my previous qualification? No you cannot do that. You may be able to apply for the 408 and then apply for the 485 (within 6 months of you completing the course)
