Love all of your patterns. Made many your items and give them to family and friends. I will make something for somebody if they insist and just tell them that they just pay for the supplies used. I am just a hobbyist doing leather work for something to do during this pandemic and now continue to have something to do besides watch TV.

This crossbody satchel is an adaptation of an earlier version that I made for my granddaughter last year. She loves it still. It was the first leather item that I made from scratch and not a kit. Learned the hard way about the knives used to cut the leather though. Sliced ope my hand really bad the first part and needed stitches. ER said I just missed the tendon on my left hard. Now I am extra careful whenever I cut a pattern. Still learning on cutting and skiving though.

thank you for buying our patterns. Sorry for your accident. When you cut, you need a very very sharp knife ( I prefer OLFA cuter) and a special plastic on your table. Use only metal rulars, steel ones. And ofcourse, care.
Just bought this pattern hope I will pull this off😊

Such a lovely design, I will buy this pattern and it will be my second of yours. Great videos with lots of helpful information, thank you. I also love your use of weights, I've been on the lookout for many heavy metal pieces to use in this way & am very impressed with your stitching clip. I personally have found stitching ponies to be annoying & unnecessary cost

What is that thing you use with your cutting blade? Some kind of sharpening stone? Why not just break off blade & use a fresh one? Thank you.

I'm confused as to why the pattern says it needs D rings when you are using rectangle rings? The pattern doesn't work with D rings. Also I'm wondering why there are extra holes in the pattern for the bottom of the pocket gusset that don't seem to have a purpose

I’m wondering if you mean the holes on the large gusset? That’s where the closure strap is attached.

Rectangle rings work best. Good catch!

Very nice job, very clean (i still have trouble with that). You might benefit from a stitching pony. All in, I'll watch more.

i make 250-300 bags each year, since 1992 :). I sew so much that i can almost sew in my sleep :). I started leather before internet, 5 years i stitched only with leather lace made by myself :). So i don't have problems with stitching.

probably an wrist pain, I made too many holes :). I have to pay more attention to these details.

@@VasileandPavel OK, so not a cut, but a joint pain. At my age, I have many of these pains everywhere on my body. Try a different mallet next time for a different angle hit on the hole punch.
